Can any of you experience bikers advise me how much $$$ will i need for the whole trip(in thai baht or ringgit).I've got a rough estimate of petrol $$$ from bro Racingter(thanks). I don't drink(alcohol),i don't smoke n i don't think i'll be doing much shopping coz i don't really like ride wit too much things loaded onto my bike. I think most of my spending will be on food coz i really enjoy eating n my body wud really enjoy a good massage(not the kinky one thou).Thanks in advance.

As quote from above...spending power falls within your needs,Food there is relatively cheap....so i will advise u to bring around $300 (excluding petrol) so that u can change baht there..as the rate there is almost the same(sometimes a bit higher) then wat singapore side is offerering... massage is around 200 b to 250 b for 2 hrs...in sin $10 u can def get a great deal per meal...change baht if needed....cos most of the petrol will be pumped in malaysia(cos it's cheaper)...

does the NTUC travel insurance on your quote cover us traveling on motorcycles?

(there is a premium loading of 25% for motorcycling over the standard premium)

under standard plan, most travel insurance and have exclusion clauses in their policy document stating clearly that activities on motorcycle are not covered

 

btw, 10-14 Apr adds to 5 days... if cross 2359hrs = 6 days

please help to check and confirm to prevent dispute in the event of claims

there're many travel insurance out there in the market but unfortunately, many don't wanna cover motorcycling. so i propose we go with NTUC and add the required 25% loading. if you guys can confirm, we qualify for 15% discount (4-20pax) liow however, my take is we should cover 6 days since add only $2 (from departure on 10 Apr to return on 15 Apr in case delays)

 

estimated cost for 4 persons (see attached online quotation):

[4 x {(5D x $5) + (1D x $2)} x 125% less 15% discount] + share admin fee

= $115

thus per person (not per bike) = approx. $28.75

I remember average for riding Groups insurance cost about $20 to $30, why not we do it on the meeting day for those who is interested in getting. Now we will wait for Simon meeting date, cheers
