i thought i did badly during my prac 8, but swee, 8 points only. hehe

thats what i did! checked before bends and turns. yet my points are for incorrect checking of blindspots. wth! haha i really don't get it!

think i've got an e-trial scheduled for the morning of the 18th .. either 18th or 19th.

 

tbh, practically speaking, so far i've benefited most from theory. over time, i've forgotten the operating hours of bus lanes .. being the lazy boy that i am, instead of looking it up, i chose to avoid it altogether lest i get a fine. thanks to the compulsory lessons, i've been reminded that it operates from 7.30-9.30/5-8. i've cut at least 15mins off my daily commute. so happy.

 

edit: have you guys decided on your first bike?

during one of my class 3 practical, i went drove inside buslane.

wahh kena nag for awhile. theory stuffs don't really stick to my head ah. haha

 

my dream bike - yamaha tzm 150.

haha. but wait long long worhh ! no work no money. some more my father disapprove of me riding. prolly settle for a kup instead.

passed prac1 this afternoon (3rd attempt).

 

1st attempt: bang tyre only

2nd attempt: gear 1-3, 3-1

3rd attempt: out into the circuit, gear 1-5, 5-1, 5-3, gear 1 braking (pylon to pylon), proper turning technique

 

pace really picked up. maybe it's because this time the class size was much larger (8; previously 2) and so more instructors were assigned, or simply that the entire class comprised males (and hence a less tender approach was taken) .. hell, maybe the instructors saw my posts here.

I'm still in Prac 1 after 7 times...

 

I think mainly because my braking suck!! Whenever requires to stop I would feel gan cheong and thus my hand/leg will go out of co-ordination and so anyhow brake... endup everytime jam brake..

 

There is a question I like to ask. Whenever I turn at the bend at the big circuit, I would close throttle. Sometime there are some slow moving cars in front after the bend... (around the other bend opposite the main entrance) so while the throttle is still close, i would brake abit or more in order stop. But have encounter several times that the engine stall when I try to pick up speed again

 

Does this happen because I close throttle and brake till too slow?

most probably it is because u are too slow and not in the correct gear.. play around with ur clutch control too.
