Ya, rs250 has a very big problem when moving off -- dunno why the front tire keep lifting off the ground. haha ;p

Unfortunately, no more new ones already...

 Guess u have to wait for a few more months.. Currently I am doing tied up by DRZ and RS250 mods.. I will redo back my RS125 once i have restored my RS250 to its most pristine condition first..

Forks tat are able to fit a RS125 w/o much problems are Honda SP1 Showa , Aprilia RSV/ Ducati ohlins , GSXr K4-K8 preferly K8 .

I might consider changing another set of Ohlins forks tat are more suited for RS125 weight and style if my $$ allows in a few more months.. I will be trying to fit the 1098 calipers into the RS in the next few weeks once i not so busy with my work

Ya, thats why I m using SP1 fork and modified the spring, fork length and valving to suit the bike and my weight. This is the best I can do...:p U said u will redo your RS125 is because it had been strip down? Can view anymore?o_O

:angel:Currently my bike is at bro- in -law workshop collecting dust. Basically once my RS125 is fully rebuilt, only main chasis and engine will be OEM RS125 parts , the rest of the bike will be assemble from various parts sourced from all over the place but mostly i will be using 2rd hand parts to cut cost

o...IC....that means I m just one step ahead of you.:p Mine also just almost done up with mostly after market parts and self design parts. Same as you, only the chasis, engine and electrical remain oem.:thumb: When u start, we can meet up and share....:p Which workshop u work on yr RS250?

I go mostly to FM for most of my works on all my Rs. I currently need to rebuilts the front and rear suspension , replaced the damaged foot pegs and all the wear and tear parts on my RS250.. Jus finish upgrading the brakes on the RS250.

haha of course nothing in this world is free. even if i DIY(if i know how to) there will be a implicit cost. :) if you're offering ur service you will be the better person for the job, afterall you've been doing ur bike. i was a RS125 rider and maintainence of the bike was okay. but i'm thinking of taking rs250. is there alot of difference in maintaince? and what happened to ARC's forum >.

anyway how do you guys think abt this deal : http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178377?

cheers :D

hey guys, does the shop Hua Chin cheat people who bring their bikes there for the first time? I send there to wash carb and valve, the mech say my valve stuck must take out the casket and everything to wash it. Than the boss say he do everything for me, coolant plus wash piston all he charge me 120. Is that expensive? I feel cheated.

I brought you my bullets; you brought me your love.

I don't think it's expensive, depending on what you mean by wash piston.

And valve won't be stuck one lah! Even if there's a lot of carbon built up, all it takes is a lot of patience to coax it out. You should go with Lawrence for those valve cleaning sessions lah.

!?!?!? You're planning on selling your bike??? Haha you really have too much time on your hands bro, why sell that beautiful spidey-bike and do up another one? Are you sure you willing to let go of your darling bike? haha If i were you i will  if have to sell

The mech say stuck, than force somemore the rod will break. I'm really new here so i don't know who's lawrence. But if there's anymore DIY i'd like to go and learn.

Lawrence = Lacrimose = the guy organising DIY sessions! :thumb:

Valve stuck is probably because you 1) very long never whack your bike and/or 2) never clean your valve for a long loooong time, so there is a lot of carbon built up. The last time i kena that also.. Few of us spent close to an hour, spraying lots of lube and coaxing the damn thing out mm by mm.. haha those were the days!

But i doubt the mech will sit there for an hour to help you take out the valve. So i reckon $120 is a fair price for cleaning valve, coolant, and servicing piston. *shrug*
