My current settings for my bike right now: main jet is 145 and my carb is 30mm. Is there anyway to improve my low end. Everytime move off from a stationary position, like gonna stall engine anytime. Everyone go past me and I am still trying to struggle pass 3k rpm. Anyone?? My FC is around 30km/l without reserve after I jetted down from 148 to 145..... so I dun mind losing abit on my FC for any mods. Thanks!!!

very nice Aprilia RS125 broken down at the corner of Woodlands Ave 12 and 5. Just saw it during lunch when I rode home to swap bikes. Have the Aprilia at work now and trying to decide... Legal Arrow or not... hmmm. 2nd hand WP shock or not... SOOOOOOOO tempting. Have a sinking feeling that my bank account will be another $1250 lighter very soon.

and what's the bet I'll get caught by ROV on my way to Ideal to get the new legal exhaust. Murphy's Law is bound to apply on this one.

lightbolt> I just give my bike a handfull of revs and slip the clutch LOTS if I want a smooth, progressive and reasonably rapid launch. Otherwise it just bogs down BADLY. The lighter you are the better it should be.

Your main jet should be way below 145. Eh, you still haven't changed sprocket size ah?

well the main reason for having the legal pipe is so that I can ride it into and out of malysia without fear of being pulled over on the way there. It also means that I can take it out for the occasional kopi sessions etc. I'm pretty happy with my current arrow but it makes me way to nervous to actually ride the bike, even for simple things such as sending it for servicing or getting repairs/modification made. Eg WP shock.

So basically it's $700 for a little peace of mnd when riding the bike in sg.

today i went for another track session.. something terrible happened... my friend's bag was stolen! passport wallet everything inside! made a police report and he was able to come home with the report..... so lesson learned... don anyhow put yr valuables even u think there is a friend to take care of it....

ok, I pulled out the $550 (from the ATM) and headed down to First Motor at Ubi to get the so called Rebuilt WP shock fitted to my bike.

 

On closer inspection (before getting the shock fitted) I find out that the shock is actually a SACHS unit that's fully adjustable with an external reservoir. In addition the shock has clearly not been rebuilt (well maybe like 2 years ago) and it's covered in crud and muck. They couldn't even be bothered to clean it up to make it look like it had been rebuilt. Basically they've just pulled it off a bike and are trying to sell it as is. Anyway, back to square 1 and still searching for a shock.

 

(Note... I didn't get the shock)

 

Tried riding to Ideal afterwards to send the bike for fitting of the legal arrow but they had already closed up shop for the day. Double doh!

 

Only good thing was I didn't spend a cent.

i have one spare waiting to be rebuilt(seal change) and a new owner.

i only know the 250 sachs unit can be mounted onto the rvf...
