I will be doing DIY at my place this Sat morning from 11am - 1pm.

 

Nothing big -just cleaning valve and changing gear oil. Those who wanna join in, feel free to drop by.

Update for DIY Session. 12noon - 2pm.

 

Am very busy this weekend. Have loads of work - 8 orders to fill by Monday, and a meeting at 3pm and another at 6pm. So this will be a very chop chop DIY Session. I will conduct my own cleaning, you can watch, ask questions, and you are free to DIY yourself. But I wont have time to assist you, or go into too much details.

 

The breakdown is:

5min - removal and replacement of fairings

5min - change gear oil

45min - wash valve

40min - wash carb

5min - pack up and go home

 

I have decided to push back the DIY because I have a meeting in the morning at 9am till 11am. So the DIY will be pushed back to 12noon - 2pm.

 

Pls bring your toolkit. Full allen key set. Screwdrivers. Pliers.

 

I have rags and solvents. Those coming are free to use them.

grr.. i alreadi book ahseng to wash my carb later.. maybe i try to join in to learn how to wash carb.. maybe wash valve as well.. btw today my bike no fuel and die on the bke.. den manage to push the bike out and exit @ dairy farm road.. den damn lucky manage to get my fren to help me buy fuel.. but he bought 95 den pour in the bike the bike like no power sia.. den i went to top up with caltex gold full tank.. i left my work place i see still got 1/4 tank.. den i open my bike check.. wah the fuel onli left like 1 glass only lidat.. den on reserve also cant move sia..

Wow... That's quite a scary story. Poorly jetted bikes usually consume alot more fuel than they should, and produces alot less power than a properly jetted bike.

 

Even when slightly rich, it shld pull to 170 in abt 15 sec, and should run a 25km/L fuel economy...

i'm waiting for TP now . i like to know whether i should go and buy nsr150 or aprilia rs125 2006. because i am big in size and alot of my friend are asking me to buy aprilia . and some of my friends tell me to buy nsr150 and save the money for class2A . but if i am getting aprilia rs125 2006 how much would the maintence be ? and how much is the machine ? if i sell aprilia after 1 year will i lose alot of money ?? can somebody guide me pls ?

You will lose alot of money..

 

If you big size, can buy scooter also.. Scooter also can be big.. Or i suggest Varedaro 125.. big bike.. 125cc..

 

Listen to your friends. They give good advice. Dont waste your money buy aprilia.

Bro, i recommend change to 34mm carb man.. I think your timing sure improve.. Your mid range and top end will be better... you can pull out of the corners faster also..
