Aprilia Riders

suddenly the aprilia craze is back.. so many people wants to own a aprilia.. becos it's big and looks nice? why not save up and get class 2 in the near future? it's even bigger and looks even nicer..? =)

 

btw zack/vik: u both going Fm tml can do me a favour? help me ask low beam and high beam new bulbs hw much? my low beam like blown.. not lighting..and i want whitish hor dun 1 yellowish.. haha i think it's h4 n h7 if i'm not wrong thx r..

no need ask.. its $12. no stock for high beam ones. low beam not sure still got any left. if im not wrong i took the last piece..

 

 

anyways just an update.. replica is still there at upper thomson. condition is very bad.. fairing all over the place.. some parts missing.. drove past, stop at bus stop and take a look. =/

I'm supposed to return to Singapore today but my boss decided that it would be nice that I stay till next Tuesday to clean up his sh*t for him over here in HK.

 

Hate these last minute changes. I've been off my bike for almost 14 days!

If it's due to you not having a cellphone, then I have a friend who owns a phoneshop and I can get you a simple phone that will probably cost me less than 20 bucks. It calls, it send text messages, and it will solve your problem of un-contactibility. =p

I agree man .......... vik pls go and do something about it la. Everyone is having problem getting you. Perhaps Prepaid card might be a good suggestion for the time been. What do you say?

Thanks for your concern.. My primary reason for NOT getting a pre paid card is because i dont want to screw up my contacts with my new no. and old no. Cash is on the way.. But i dunno when i will get it..

 

I will take you up on your offer if my cash doesnt come in 2 weeks alright? I will get a pre paid card then..

bro, FM is not the only place got sell bulbs u noe...

 

all years rs125 uses H1 for low beam and H3 for high beam.

 

I u get the philip standard bulb, it will cost u about 6 bux at LAB. Cheap and good quality.

 

The whitish version is known as the vision series... alot to choose from. ie vison plus, blue vison etc. check the philip webby. cost from 38 bux for the vison plus to 70++ for the blue vison.

 

But do take note that u have to buy in pairs. ie the packing is two H1 bulb or two H3 bulb per pack. Car accessory shops tend to sell it cheaper cos they are wholesaler...

Perhaps you can state what's your budget. It's easier to find a bike by budget rather than by the age of the bike. Anyway how good can a five years old bike be? Good bike doesn't come cheap.

I miss riding terribly. So I took up this chick's offer to go cycling today.

 

She took me some mountain that would be good for drifting and all that kinda thing. The uphill was a damned killer. But the downhill was damned fun. I actually hit 74.6km/hr on a bicycle on the downhill. There was no one who was crazy enough to go downhill as fast as I did though. Thanks to all the riding experience on the Aprilia. *laughs*

 

Still, at the end of the day, a bicycle ain't a RS... =p

thx 4 the information.. btw how do i change it? able to diy? i find it damn hard to remove the headlight section to even see the bulb.. any webbies got diy for the headlight change?

bro get the super m card wit free incoming calls. and top up using the super top up 100, which gives u $75 local calls/sms and $25 idd calls wit a buying price of $30(cheaper in some shops, got mine for $26.50 haha).

although the free incoming call feature required a daily deduction of $0.60, it did so from the $25 section! so u can fully utalise the $75! haha... so far been topping up once every 3-4weeks... save up plenty!

bro u juz need to reach behind the head fairing where the rear section of the headlights are(the reflectors), there's a round black rubber seal.

u can easily pull it away to reveal the bulb. simply disconnect the only connector to the bulb, un-hinge the thin metal catch to release the bulb. do the reverse after the bulb change and viola! finished! all can be done in juz a couple of mins...
