im using the alpinestars glove selling at LAB...

a bit ex at 70 bucks, but its good.

Well, the list is convenient for anyone to have an impromptu gathering and be able to inform everyone. Deus Ex, if you're not comfy with leaving yr contacts online, we cant stop you anyway... AOC membership is free and anyone can choose to do anything he pleases so long as its not detrimental to our riding/gathering habits.

 

Lost Rose, no problem man... I just happened to log on and saw your message, and I got reminded of my experience just 2 week ago.... Siewsphone and fibre were there too... watching me push-start my bike, changing the dead battery, etc....

I couldnt help myself. I just had to help!

 

Siews, hand numb? I get that too. But I dont ride with proper motorcycling gloves. I ride with mountain biking gloves, which are slightly thinner, more flexible, better ventilated and is pretty soft. It wont protect me mitts in a really bad crash, but it'll keep my hands from going numb. Ask me next time we meet up....

Actually I haven't seen AOC guys really get together for a big ride since 2000/2001. Still have memories of Hunter, Servo, and the rest of the pioneering members in a large group of 10 - 15 bikes plying the roads from point to point. We had our monthly outings back then. Always looked forward to it. So much fun.

 

 

Today, still have groups like the SBF CB400s, who have successful regular outings with a healthy attendance rate. Guess u have to organize more ride/makan/TCSS sessions, rather than DIYs. Have a better take-up rate.

There's a possibility that the batt is faulty and is not charging when u ride...

batt lvl below 11 is bad from my experience. My normal levels are abt 11.6-11.8.

 

REMEMBER TO CHOKE....

 

If it's batt, u might have to run start or toll ur bike to the nearest garage.

 

Another possibility is the temp due to the torrential rain these days.

 

Check the temperature screen, if it says cold, u might have to run start....

 

sadly we dun have kick start. *lol....

amazingly i tried starting again at 8pm n it started with just 1 try... i tried for 30 mins in the morning n during lunch hr but it didnt start. maybe its the battery eh? any normal battery can do?

Kick start good...can save money on starter carbon and battery change.....battery flat still can ride.....anyway rvf also not bad.....nice bike.
