oso for sale is a keihin 36mm carb.. meant for fast pickup..

make sure the petrol knob is on.

Also, if u keep pressing ur ignition, u might need to change your sparkplug as already mentioned by someone.

 

Make sure choke is not pushed down. it'll cause the engine to die when idle.

yay... my bike ok already

yesterday went to the workshop....

weird things happened

the mechanic juz changed the battery.. coz i drained my battery already from so many ueseless attempts -_-''

 

then he go and check the spark plug... it works, so he put it back... nvr change

then he start the bike... and bingo... it can start

 

weird things is becoz my bike died down when i was riding, not when i was stopping

so, it cannot be cold engine.... muz be something happened inside, somehow

 

and after i drained my battery i try push start with 1st gear, 2nd gear, choke up and down

nothing happened -_-''''

 

mechanic also say dont noe wat happen... he check a little bit then he says everything looks ok

 

 

anyway, he changed the battery and charge me $20... is that exp ?

 

haiz.. waste $$ for towing

not sure what battery, but i saw some liquid inside, so it shd b wet

brand? no idea... *shrug*....

and the guy told me it's not new

muz pull out the fuel tank 1st be4 i can see the battery, rite ?

 

i nvr do that be4 : ) a bit scared

 

oh.. the place i serviced is in mas puteh, west coast

my fren recommend... not specialised in aprilia but the guy is very nice

and i think so far he giv reasonable price

 

once my signal light died.... he changed 1 component at the back... beside recitifier

that's for signal light, and charge me $6

if he cheated me the price i wouldn't know but i think $6 is quite reasonable : )

how does ur bike's idling sound like?

i covered the exhaust shortly and the engine sound was like a rapid knocking sound, like a drill like dat....which is bad according to some of my friends

 

Will a piston change fix that or do i need to overhaul the whole engine?

hey guys, just changed my clutch plates today. now there's this light front/back pulsing effect when half clutch taking off from the lights...mech says its ok coz the clutch plates are new...what are your opinions on this issue.. is it believeable? or just an excuse for insufficient knowledge from the mech?

guess wat my bike went up in flames yesternite....

 

i guess i learned a very usefulful lesson so i wanna share wit u guys

 

while parkin my bike yesterday nite after returning home..

i notice some liquid dripping from my bike front sproket..

looking at the liquid which was black in clouer i did tink it was petrol..

i den lit up my lighter to see check out where was it leaking from

before i knew it the pool of liquid which was under my bike caught fire ...

it was den i knew it was petrol ....

the fire spread up to uder my airbox and damage all my internal wiring...

not to mention burnt my 2t piping which leaked out my 25 buck sikolene 2t ....

 

so next time u guys c something leaking from yr bike .. bring it to a shop immediatiely so be like me act clever and end up whole bike now need major repairs .....

The closest I ever came to having a lit up bike was when I over pumped petrol, and the petrol splashed out onto my crotch and down the side of a hot hot engine. Luckily nothing ignited.

 

But U, on the other hand.... :giddy:
