from SBF frontpage.. biketech21 banner says about the approved arrow too..

but ultimately still need to go down physically and check with them..

but maybe in no time, we can see people fitting their arrow on their RS, trying their luck with TP kaka

It really sucked for me last time to have the milo kong on the RS125. Beautiful handling bike screwed up by a frickin' scooter exhaust.

 

I crashed once because in a left corner, the pipe hit the tarmac and raised my rear wheels. Hate that damned Milo pipe....

oh my, arrow is really tempting, but take note that u have to buy the NEW homologated arrow (which i guess can end up in a 4 digit sum) and I guess it has some sort of internal silencer in the end can to meet sound requirements so perforamnce still lose to race arrow.

 

But for those milo-users this can save a lot of weight, let u corner more safely( altough corner and safely dont really go togther) and the performance is confirm better than that crappy milo... track days are going to be possible!

 

That is, if it really gets approved...Anyone goign down to biketech this weekend to find out more?

Somebody should just email LTA and ask about the arrow thing...hell i'll be happy if we can just replace the milo kong with the standard RS pipe like 2003 models...

i think ideal charges 17+ bucks for the choke lever. excluding labour

Did everyone here scrape through NS being a chao keng clerk?

 

Everywhere I turn, I see and hear people asking, 'When organise ah?'

But no one bothers to take the initiative to do anything about it. Come on, you're not 6 year old girls, how difficult is it to organise an event?

Never done it before? LEARN. You cant sit around waiting for someone to do something. Why cant you be the one who does it?

 

I always get asked, when organising this ah, that ah....

Yet, all I see is a general disinterest in AOC happenings. Despite the enthusiastic replies I see here, turnouts are usually dismal. Its always, 'I want, I want...' but when its handed out on a silver platter, nobody wants it. You want DIY Sessions? I organise them. But few turn up for it. You want meet ups? Sure, but 4 bikes dont really constitute 'convoy'.

Yes, its hard to match your timings. But do you really think I have time for AOC at all?

If someone told you, you'll be paid a million dollars for every pink sweater you knit, I'll wager my bike that you WILL find time to knit pink sweaters.

 

Its about priority. If learning more about your bike is really your priority, then I'm sure you'll find time to come for DIY Sessions; if you like rounding, and late night suppers, no time is too late for you.

I'm tired of people asking for this and that to be organised, and in the end, they cant turn up. Please dont be hot outside and cold inside.

 

If you think your bike needs servicing, or you want to learn how, you can pick up the phone and call the members in the AOC list. That's what the list is for. Or if you'd really like me to spoonfeed you, you can call me and I'll organise a DIY Session for you. I'll provide the location - windy, shaded, access to water, close vicinity to good food, town, and petrol stations. I'll teach you what I know. People with expertise, can come and share with others too.

I have a business to run, but I dont mind putting some time aside for you guys.

 

I wanted to have a messaging system for the members, for the following reasons:

- to update members of events

- to update members of traffic situations, specifically real time TP locations.

- to help sellers find buyers and vice versa

- to help riders in trouble, ie empty tank, accident, etc. Can notify all AOC members and those in the area can go help out a brother, yes?

 

I've never complained about this before, but I think you should know that I'm doing this from my own pocket. Every SMS I send out (some of you may consider it spamming), counts towards my own bill. I really dont mind this as long as everyone here is kept updated while out there on the move.... When it really matters. You send one SMS to me, I forward it to 25 members. Who's getting the shorter end of the stick here?

 

You too, can do something, start something, have a bbq, organise a rounding, rally all our guys to go M'sia to pump petrol and get supper (which is really good and cheap).

Dont always depend on Iswan and me to do everything.

hello, i also got valve jammed problem. I just sent for repair. the mechanic said my valve jammed very seriously. very hard to fix. but they finally managed to fix it. but need around half day. I paid 40 dollars to "clear valve".

 

now the bike is performing better but still seem quite slow.....
