according to ur calculation,7 ppl equally pays 189rm.but in some rooms there are 3 or 2 ppl.so the 2 ppl will pay more rite? dats wat i wanna discuss abt n hopefully can make payments asap.de guy need to book rooms already

Forks wise there are a few direct bolt on for RS125 , jus tat its tooo ex so nobody bothers . Changing the internals to fully adjustable ones are easier to be done and cheaper. Ohlins forks are ex but the are worth every penny spend

hi to all again.. sorry to intrude on some noob questions. i just wanna get some guidance from the experienced riders. i'm sure some of u know that i'm interested in getting an rs125. and i've seen 2 old models of rs125 going for abt 2.5k in the garage sales thread. is that the normal price for those old models?

 

what are the main differences between them and the newer ones? if it's just about design and style, i don't mind the older models as long as the power is still there. talking about power, does this older models being older means that potentially, i need much bigger pockets to maintain and fix up the bikes? if it means spending about $500 every mth to bring back the bike to its original glory, i might need to think twice.

 

i don't mind doing the occasional fix ups on the bike. but if it means spending more of my time fixing it than riding it, might as well i be patient and wait for next year to get the new models. anyway, i sincerely hope for as much opinion from you guys. i have never own a sportbike. so, i don't know how fast the parts can last. i get scared when i see my friend always constantly fix up his WR2.

 

anyway, is it possible to make an old bike as good as brand new by changing all the parts inside it? or will there be some outside unknown factors restricting it from its original glory?

as long it dont give u problem. its kinda kewl.

maintaining the bike isnt any problem. quite cheap too. depends how u send for servicing. i always send for service 1mth 1 time. thats it.

got this 1 guy 8mths + he didnt go servicing. LOL! wat u think?

buying 2nd bike from owner itself. kinda hard though. if u tio the owner always "sayang sayang" the bike. ur lucky. if u tio those owner dun care much abt the bike, how?.

abt looks. i suggest, u get the used of riding 1st, once u comfortable wit e bike, then u change ur parts. fairings etc. u not use to e bike,

u change here and there, then u buang. =.="

dude, every bike disc hot after riding.

jamming? dunt get wat u mean exactly..................... but juz check ur brakes area ;

maybe ur disc not in line, maybe 1 of front bearing burst, maybe ur brake-pad.

no man, its the caplier problems..can i say the brake piston doesnt withdrawn at all and stuck there, and keep rubbing the disc, that why it is especially very hot den usual, and i lubricate the caliper inner part twice. thats wad i mean JAMMING..

lubricate it can loosen and smoother abit but few days later it will jam more and more~

anyway, in a worst case scenario, if let's say i buy the bike from an owner who don't care about their bike, can i fix it or will the problems still persist even after sending it for repair? is balancing gear expensive? what's that for? if look-wise, i think i'll focus more on getting the bike in the right condition first.
