Hi Lawrence,

 

I am new to this forum and was wondering if i could join your DIY sessions as well when you have time to organize one? Would be very greatful if i am able to understand the technical aspects and maintenance of the bike under the guidance of someone with experience...

 

What tools and consumables etc do we need? I presume just the standard hex keys, degreaser and chain lube? Will be be needing any grease, lubricants?

You need to register to participate for the mass convoy on 29th November. Meet up at Old Police Academy by 11am. Estimated Time to Arrive Singapore Flyer: 1pm. The organizers intend to achieve a total of 1000 bikes to participate. The convoy will be led by TPs..

Just bring your hex keys, screwdriver set, a rag or two, and a little bit of enthusiasm. As I am often called on to be out of the country at short notice, I am unable to organise DIYs with a lot of advance notice.

Venue: Blk 21 Joo Seng Road

Time: 11am

Agenda: Carb jetting, basic servicing (3 parts), other Miscellaneous (changing valve solenoid retaining pin, repositioning digital speedometer sensor wiring, changing coolant)

 

5 days should be enough advance notice, I hope?

 

Sorry wont be in SG for the weekends.
