the arrows...guess u can forget it la, no plans to bring them in so far, and i've never seen any aftermarket pipe being approve for 2B bikes b4...probably for safety reasons

there was never an indication where we said biketech's are not as good as those in da market.

 

wat we are trying to tell u is dat the possibility of legalising arrows for 2 strokes or any 2 stroke pipe brands is very slim. we r not saying dat it cant be done. as of now, shah of biketech is stil in da proces of legalising them tru LTA. its going to be a slow process. but we await the good results if any.

 

i give u da scenario. aftermarket pipes for 4 strokes can easily pass lta becos 4 strokes have a more or less controlled exhanust emission. 4 strokes r tuned tru their ecu mappings, type of exhaust can used etc.

 

2 strokes are tuned by way of jettings, carburettor sizes, exhaust pipes, porting of blocks, ignition advance, airbox type and size.

 

altho at first glance the tuning stages may seem similar, 2 strokes need to rejet the carbs in order to use da aftermarket exhaust pipes. if a person were to do more tuning adjustments, the exhaust emmissions will exceed da allowed variance. thus da legal issues arise.

 

4 strokes however need only do a remap of their ecu to get the bike running well with the aftermarket pipe. the emmissions will still be within the allowed variance.

 

i hope u more or less get wat im tryin to say. its abit had to explain.

i wana organize a mass aprilia trackday session yes... APRILIA TRACKDAY.

details will follow soon. if u dun have a race jacket, some of us do and will be willing to lend u during dat session. i know dat most of u dun have a proper suit. so for starters, a pair of jeans, army boots, leather gloves and fullface helmet will suffice.

date will be confirmed once we have at least 10 aprilians going. this is da first time after so long dat we'll be seeing many aprilias at pasir gudang in a single day. im looking at late december and early january. experience not needed. just da passion to ride.

 

dun worry if ure bike is not fit. our team of diy mechanix like me, lacri n alex will be on hand to get ur bike in riding condition before da event. we will help check all da various moving parts like bearings, wheel alignment, chain tightness, brake fluids, any leakings etc so dat u get a decent experience riding at pasir gudang. any parts replacement will be on ur account of course. safety is our main concern at any point.
