Can get it at Weda (Rowell Road) or FM (Ubi Rd 1). Depends on whether you want it original or aftermarket....

Original, that time i got it from Weda for about $50. Can't remember 1st hand or 2nd hand..

Perhaps you can give them a call to make they have it if you heading down

Yeah, like me lor, frankly, 2A bikes got not much option, dats y bought d RS125 instead and intend to ride it for awhile, I tot even if got Class2 lic, get a class2 bike might not b a practical everyday ride, still end up wif 2 bikes lo. I got mine for 14k, do note on d yr of manufacture if u getting it new, d 09 batch r full power version. 08 and below not too sure.

Hi tknge,

Let me know how the negotiations go. Thanks!

As for the part we need, I do not know which is it as there are many parts with M16 water temp adapter as its name.

Please send the actual Part number (BA010001) and not the part name (RX-2).

Thanks.

I inspected my engine very carefully 3 times. I am unable to find that mystery screw you are talking about. My bike only has all the screws it needs.

Law, the part no. for the water temp sensor adapter is BG016B00. :) It is for ID 16mm hose.( our size )

At the same time, inform them that it must suitable for the sensor that come with the RX2 meter with the same thread size. ( I m not sure what is the thread size pitch of the sensor that come with the meter, P1.00 or P1.25 or P1.5 type, see below photo for the adaptor )

I might take a photo to show the location of the screw.

I have emailed the guy. Waiting for his reply on part availability and price.

He has told me the RX-2 units come with 1 year warranty but we have to pay for shipping costs for swapping. Of course, this shouldn't be a problem as I can change for a Taipei flight to make the swap if necessary.

However, as I arrive into Taipei on 25 April, Saturday 6pm, it may be too late and not possible for them to make the delivery. Am still waiting for confirmation. Worst case scenario, I change for another Taipei flight in early May to purchase.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Guys,

Anyone has any experience with rearsets? In particular for our bikes? I have read that quite a few companies offers it for RS125, but they are all north of S$350 per set (ordered via their website or ebay). Have not seen any in Singapore yet...

Is the cost justifiable? What sort of performance improvements have you felt in using those?

Thanks

Edmund

What brand are you referring to? S$350 per set type should be those non-adjustable type, not so exp. Adjustable type would be around 600~800. There is non performance change, only let you look good, shift your leg position if you leg n others leg are different and finally it can use inverted shifting.:angel: And lastly, a big hole in your pocket.:thumb:

Ok. I'd rather get from the Taiwanese manufacturers direct and not through the dark side. You never know what could happen there. Get mugged at knifepoint, get falsely arrested for speeding (110km/h becomes 180km/h) by the corrupt coppers, or run over by heavy vehicles. Moreover, we don't even know if we can claim warranty and swap for another set if the ones we purchase don't work.

I think for Eddy they should be useful. He's very tall so it'll improve riding position. The inverted shifting is also a plus.
