gear 1 and gear 2 are the best way to feel the opening of the valve..

once your RPM go pass 8K (for my case) you will feel a great increase

in acceleration and pulling of the bike...

oh yah.. almost forgot, could it be possible that your bike is powervalve

and CDI restricted?

check this webpage out http://www.navero.co.uk/rs125zone/tuning.htm

duno la but for my bike.... in order to make the power smooth... muz from beginning already rev le... example is i do a starting off with 5-7k rpm then i change gear up at 9-10k i very fast can reach my top speed le...

but if i start slow... many 3k rpm then it realli take a super long time to go up to high speed even though i throttle a lot loh

my bike is CDI restricted - cos its an environmental thingy, it has a powervalve so no restriction there.

my bike revs up uniformly no sudden jerk or anything, once it gets past 8k rpm it doesn't slow just uniformly increase, with the pssssst air sound coming from somewhere down there... :) its fast though and i'm not complaining, don't think i need to go any faster, so i guess 'bah' i just let it be la...i'm enjoying it, just like to know more.

the speedos are all similar to the rs125, exactly the same. no diff there. a lot of the frame also the same. Just that change oil and maintainence easier, cos no fairing to remove. Overall - i still give it a thumbs up, just pray it don't break down so soon.

:)

mm.. so just mix it in when tank is low is ok?..mm..sigh some pple i ask say die die must bleed, then some say pls la bleed for what. so torn between. i think i'd just go ask Mah when i bring for service, at least whatever he say he back by his warranty can lieow.

yea i'm not touching the CDI dip until the bike is up with the warranty. anyway after running in, can always stay above 5k rpm then the dip won't matter anymore.

one thing tho i kinda hate the gearbox, seems so clunky, when i shift up always go like double kick, one kick then it hangs there halfway, must use more strength to hit up again, so sometimes i kick but didn't know i kicked hard enough so change gear, then hit false neutral, then vroooom!!! and it only happens for gears 4 and up

why ah? anyone know?

duno much although i always gets it

False neutral

A motorcycle transmission usually has 4 or five gears, plus a designated "neutral" -- a position in which the transmission doesn't power the rear wheel. This neutral is usually found between first and second gear. When you find a false neutral, you've shifted the transmission so that the gears aren't properly engaged, and it feels like you're in neutral again: the wheel's not receiving any power from the engine. However, this happens between gears other than first and second, which is bad. It usually means that gears and engaging levers are spinning with sub-millimeter clearance between them, probably doing Bad Things to the transmission. This is usually the result of hitting a particularly notchy transition between gears.

Notchy shifting

When someone says a shifter feels notchy, they mean that there's not a silky smooth feeling when moving the shift lever from one gear to another. It feels almost like there are "notches" you have to move the lever past in order to make a complete transition from one gear to another. Usually, if you stop when you hit one of those notches, you'll find a false neutral.
