Hi there... i'm fm next door Mito nation. So how's the response fm the Aprilia team

for our combined meet on the 1st Jan 05?

To the guy with engine sounding rough after closing throttle: think ur valve jammed la.. mine oso sounded like that when my valve got stuck. quite suckie to maintain the valve man.. hate to constantly worry when my vlave will jam again!

 

 

To the guy choosing bet aprilia and mito: no offence to mito ppl but i would choose aprilia over the mito anytime. from wat i have seen, mito gives more probs than aprilias (maybe i bump into mito riders who do not take care of their bikes?) and their parts are quite diff to find? as for aprilias, we can source out second hand parts if we are lucky. also i crashed with my fs y2k aprilia a couple of times and yet the bike did not give me any major problems despite the occasional piston change. to me, i see the y2k version as a bike able to withstand accidents(from my experience of owning one). i also personally feel that aprilia looks better than a mito.. haha..

btw, if u planning to get a brand new aprilia, be known that u will lose out a lot if u going to sell it off. bought mine n lost abt 8k in 1 1/2 yr of ownership. another one i lost 2k in just 2 months. and the losses are exclusive of the repairs and etc etc. just bike price. but overall i think aprilia is good! haha.. some more now aprilia comes with the rs pipe!!

 

side track: me selling a gear indicator that i bought but yet to collect from bike shop. selling at 180 inclusive of installation. bike shop sell at 205. interested or for more info pls call me at 96885743.

I just find bike buyers a difficult breed. Wana buy bike, sure will ask for recommendations. When already recommend, they become sceptical. When the bike has already proved how much it is worth buying, buyer still sceptical. End up buyer finds another bike, buys it and ends up getting a whole sh*t load of problems which the previous bike viewed was without.. Sianz...

 

To all future buyers, if u need an out of da box powerful 125 or 250, buy it brand new if u have the cash to spare. The 2003 models dont need much modifications to turn them into mean machines. Those on the budget, look out for previously owned bikes by known and trusted forumners or friends. These bikes are cheaper and if u are lucky enough, u get extra goodies but ask yourself will u even actually use the goodies.

 

People nowadays buy bikes for different reasons. Posing down orchard gudang, track etc. So it doesnt matter what u use it for as long the bike is reliable to last u at least 6 mths of riding unlike the stories of new aprilia owners stories i have heard.

 

It will neva end. So many regretted stories of which i really wanted to say "I told u already yet u didnt believe".

 

On another note, thanx to all the interested buyers of my RS250. I just dun want to sell it off yet. Maybe in 2 years time I will. By that time I can turn around and look back at a 10 year old RS250 machine at its peak performance, reliability and looks. Just like what i did to my RS125....

Beauty lies in the eyes of the be holder. To withstand accident, even in a tank if fated to die... u die.For love not only second hand parts u may find but u only one the best for it. Theres no bike with no problem...even bicycle got problem, itz how u take care...... No one will says his bike is lousy. Every one will says they made a right choice in buyin their bike. How fast or how good is not for the owner to judge..itz for the others. No offense my brothers......we ride an italian brand bike for a reason. All of knows what is it. Never pit brothers against brothers. As for the rest of other thailands bike that we have faced all the times.....Well...there`s always a different between a real designer brand and a fake pasar malam designer brand. Eh, i was joking abt the bike exchange thingy... nobody wants to see his mito crash in my hands...hahaha

Time to 'fess up.

I wanted to buy a Mito initially.....

hahahahaa....

 

But eventually when I had to make a decision after trying out both the Mito and Aprilia, I went with Aprilia....

Of course this doesnt mean Mito is bad, on the contrary, the Mito I rode was so much more powerful than the Aprilia I tried out.

In terms of handling and power, Mito is much more raw and aggressive. Mito also carries the styling of the Ducati 916, which is sexy as hell. I was seduced by the curves of Aprilia and its gentle comfort in handling.

 

Btw, guys..... My PC is DOWN. Error reading Drive C. Think the harddisk finally quit after 5 long years. harddisk motor is dead, cant spin the damn disk for any sort of data to get accessed....

 

I can only log on sporadically whenever I have access to a comp... which wont be frequent. Any updates, please discuss over the phone. thank you.
