hey guys..my mileage is abt 1200km already..and the spanner logo(servicing logo) is lighted in my digital meter..so its tym for me to change my spark plug,engine oil and stuffs rite??tmr morning i mite be going down to give my bike for servicing..but u all think its too early to give or wad?

u wan me to give when its 1500km or now itself??any suggestions..thx..

and my running-in is really 1500km???

 

Change only the gear oil. Spark plug just need to take out and clean it. If you got time & money, valve can be clean too. If the stupid wkshop request you to change others and you agreed to that, you are just like them.

1. YES. If the power valve is not frequently opened in operation, it will trap a lot of carbon, causing it to be jammed inside the port. This is the most common cause for breakage.

3. Depends on the context in which 'engine oil' is referred to. Engine oil for a 2-stroke bike is 2T. Engine oil for a 4-stroke engine is 4T. 4T must never be used in place of gear oil, which is the lubrication for 2-stroke engines crankcases and clutch.

If you want power, learn to ride the bike first, then upgrade your brakes, and LEARN as much as you can about the bike, and what specific mods are for and how they will perform, before the pursuit of horsepower. If you fail to follow this sequence, you will destroy your bike, or yourself.

After 7 years and almost $40k sunk into this bike, it might startle you to know that I still have another $10k worth of upgrades to go.

got mine for $17,400 with insurance, interest, road tax.. from MAH motors a few months back . i kinda feel like the price is a little bit too ex but im enjoying it now, that's what matters most

Paid already meant paid already.... dun think abt tooo much ..

Just regularly change QUALITY gearoil/sparkplug every 2000-4000km or every 3 months which ever come earlier. and every 10000km change airfilter and wash carb ..

Aprilia maintance is as simple as that...

Regarding your intelligence level you have to judge it yrself, I can't do that for you now as I do not know you yet. But the wkshop mechanic definitely slightly better than you as he managed to get you to change what he want to.

lol. i have 2 kup chais in my pasir gudang home bro. one 4stroke, and one 2stroke. apparently, i love the kup chai. got box at back and basket in front somemore. whats aprilia? hahahaha!

 

btw, our bikes can get around 10-20 kup chais at least in malaysia. which means one day u can ride one. LOL. good right. faster sell urs. hehhe
