Hi guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I suppose its only fair to inform our riders, buddies here.

 

This morning, Chung, kodokz, daviddw and myself went for a track session at PG.

Chung had a very bad fall this afternooon while riding on the track alone, without the 3 of us there with him. As I had cleared my 1hr session, I went up to the roof to check out how chung was doing on the track. On one of his laps, he took a very big crash on the short straight right after turn 3.

 

What I can imagine is, his exit on turn 3 was not a stable / clean one. Somehow rather, he lowside and went down head first. As to the best of my knowledge, he broke his left collar bone, a very big bruise on his forehead on top of his left eye, his left hip / kidney area is feeling abit sore. He's being hospitalised at Hospital Penawar, which is juz down the road from the circuit.

 

With the help of david, we brought the bike back to his house over at pg. His family members have been informed of his accident. He will be in surgery tomorrow morning at 11am.

 

As of right now, the only solid plan I have would be to head into pg again on Tuesday morning with vik to pick up his bike, whatever that we need to do to get the bike back to riding condition. Visit chung again, then head back home..

 

Those of you who are free and would like to come along to visit Chung, please inform me so I can work out a timing to meet up and such.

On Sunday itself, at the hospital in the evening, we saw the xray, left collarbone snapped into 2pcs. He went for surgery on Monday morning. Will be visiting him tomorrow.

 

We've brought back his bike to his home somewhere near PG and Informed his family about the accident.

 

Did you see exactly how he fall? I was on the roof the whole time he was out, I saw him going into T3 but didnt see him exit as the foliage was blocking the view.

 

We were speculating exactly how he fell. I was talking about it with a few friends. I was guessing it was his tyres and tyre pressure. Some felt that it was his suspension. Cant really say as he himself blacked out during the fall..

i had a fall a week bak..

my side stand sensor spoilt.than cannot engage 1st gear..so need tow the bike.l:angel:

than my side fairing and head fairing crack..lol..and gear lever knob break.

my left handlebar was shaky..need change the nut as the mech say..

total cost i spend it abt 2k siya..

repair at mah motors..

well, to my opinion is that he's going too fast without heating up the tires properly..It happened at T4 not T3.. I guess he just fall while trying to counter steer..u got to have patience in the tracks..learn slowly not chiong all the way, u'll never learn that way..

Race fairing is a type of fairing it comes stock with no headlights, no taillights, no signal lights and single seater... If want to use on Sg roads must modify and cut holes to it...

 

Normally people who buys race fairing because they intend to bring their bikes to race track and they want to prevent from damaging their stock fairings. Race fairings are cheaper than stock fairings in terms of value however at the same time race fairings are lighter than stock fairings...

 

if you want order from overseas it cost you around 1.3-1.7k If I not wrong, got few brands to choose from e.g sharkskinz.... however you can get local shops, some do carry and they selling about $1050 + installation...

 

Do note the race fairings come with only 1 colour which is white....

Guys do take care when riding. Remember you have family and they will worry sick if you are injured.

and does the engine oil affect the gear changing..

koz i noticed tt the neutral gear i everytym haV to keep up and down a serveral

Yes, it does affect abit. Nothing to worry about.

When you stop at a junction or something @ gear 1, juz need to half clutch, rev abit. Roll foward a few centimeters, kick it up and it will go into neutral easier.

if i not wrong its FDB plate.i saw him than i get damn excited..lol:angel:
