tknge, i might wanna vote myself out of tis so called mass order of the alpha 12, bought myself the bt090 already, cant wait for the alpha 12, had too many shockin skiddin moments during tis wet season, wudnt wanna risk it any longer, sorry for any inconvenience..

Anyways, i was at the traffic light junction at Shun Li Industrial at abt 1.15pm just now. Saw another aprilian with plain red colour scheme waiting for the green light at the opposite side traffic light. So, if u're in the forum, just wanna point out that a simple wave back woulda been courteous (since u were wearing full-faced helmet) instead of revving all the way past me while i waved like a jerk. No wonder people keep hating aprilia bikes. Some riders just ain't helping to keep the image of the bike. My sincerest apologies if i sound too offensive to anyone.

 

Guess that singaporeans are just not used to others being so friendly but there are always exceptions

omg ...imagine my bike is having backfire all the way when i test ride aft installing the new vers of stock exhaust ...any1 know why the setting so hot ? mechanic said tat is due to the carb jetting ...maybe the jetting for replica is not for usage on a newer model exhaust.

The other option I was thinking of was to drop a larger CC engine from another Aprilia into the frame and fabricating all the mounts and etc. I doubt it would be legal though.

wondering (and im sure there is) if anythin else has been done to d bike.

Mah pte ltd is the distributor for aprilia so i guess if u wan to get it can look for them.

09 comes in restricted and unrestricted version. though i personally feel there is no difference as long as u de restrict the restricted version by doing something to the cdi. a derestricted bike will have the EFI warning light on.

 

dun buy from bike shops. this is my advice. as bro paralex said, mah is the distributor. im not a fan of mah, but we got no choice at all.

 

u buy from bike shop, bike shop get the bikes from mah. so no diff and u risk being cut throat 2 times.

 

if u are not a p-plater and paying full cash, price should be around 11 plus excluding insurance. dun ask them to do insurance for u unless u are lazy. go get urself at axa or ntuc. because if u pay full cash, u can buy 3rd party, saving more money.

 

if u are a p-plater, expect to pay around 14-15. because insurance for p-plater is damn ex for noobies. apparently the accident rate of rs125 in sg is too high. i just saw 2 badly crashed ones at fm. lol! and why i say if u pay full, u can choose to buy 3rd party, which is relatively cheaper. if u instalment, have to buy 2nd class at least.

 

take me for example. i got mine for 15 plus. because i instalment and insurance was about 2k for 3rd party fire and theft (so called 2nd party).

Any one hardcored enough for some light weight wheels ?? A special production run by one of the reputable wheel makers .. Need 15 sets to get the production going.. Its exactly same size as the original wheels, direct bolt-on with all spacers provided, using back original sprocket/disc .. Estimtated Front weight ard 3.1 kg rear 4.9kg , using Forged Aluminium.. This set of rims will be modelled after a GP125 wheels made by them but made to RS125 spec . 5 spoke design...

 

-3 spokes front : 4830g

-3 spokes back : 7500g

-5 spokes back : 7650g

 

-OZ Style (06-) front. : 4800g

Yeah.. Checked d bike properly n heard d engine running.. Everythin seems fine so i got it. Haha.. Wont b takin it till fri or sat coz of work..

 

So rite nw im lookin for previous owner to noe wd else done to d bike.. Mah told me wds done. But rather hear frm prev owner also. I noe inside oso done up alr..

M*h never does anything to any bikes they take in and resell. Whatever that was claimed to be done, are all lies.

 

Bring it to a reliable workshop for a full overhaul and parts replacement. Clutch and brake pads, tires, chain and sprocket, and clutch cable.

 

Don't let the negligence of this shop kill you. In the end, you will pay the price.

guys , anyone knows ? why i install the newer model exhaust stock and my exhaust ride less den 2km my exhaust coming out flame ?(like backfired) is it the newer models exhaust cant be use on old model or the carb prob ? guidance pls btw the airflow thingy was blocked becos doesnt fit on my bike.

u have ur point bro. i would say, stop riding and head down to a reputable bike shop. Teck Tye, or First motor are some shops u can go. cheers!

i would say maybe tuning is the key.
