thanks..............

I read your post, but you edited it before I could reply.

I just want to say one thing. It's extremely stupid to do things to your bike, and then come and ask if you did the right thing. The proper course of action would be to ask the forum here for recommendations, and clarify your doubts before you even decide to do something to your bike. Personally, I feel you got ripped off and you did things that just F**ked your bike.

Google is your best friend when it comes to finding basic facts about your bike. Good luck.

Whats NS? :cheeky:

few guys @ aprilia uk n af1 forums have succesfully fix (IIRC) Rotax 257 engine coz the mountings are similar to our 122 engines.maybe if u can get a rotax 257 engine u can try that.

edit: found this page originally in french abt a 1998 RS with Rotax 257 (250cc) engine:

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Faprilia125rs.ifrance.com%2Faprilia125rs%2Fpage23.html&lp=fr_en&btnTrUrl=Translate

They've dropped a Pegaso 650cc engine into an RS too on TJTuning. That was alot more work though. I've seen the RS with the 250cc engine already :) It's illegal though. Guess I'm going to have to reprogram the powervalve timing or get the BBK. I've seen some guy mod his Mito till it produced 77HP @ 8000RPM. Going to have to get lots of stronger parts to get that done. But I won't be aiming for that much power. Probably somewhere around 50HP would be good.

Wow.. Your bike must be fast if you can reach 170km/h. Fierce! I'd imagine that at such a speed, the bike, would still wobble abit right??

Pump your tires once a week, tat's what i do. Your tyres should be fine, can last atleast a year or 20000KM.

I posted this some time ago on Diamond Race Rearsets. Just click on the link.

So far there's 3 of us waiting on this order. We need 2 more for it to be worth it, Otherwise shipping will be costly.

Change to an aftermarket exhaust, like a Jim Lomas or Jolly Moto. I can vouch that these systems put Arrow to shame.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.
