Wow! All good bargains! That racing carb looks yummy...

But need new engine first. :(

Can I have your review on the 'lacing' carb? How it feels and differences felt over the normal 34mm carb?

Hmmm! I might get the standard one. Depending on how much it's going to cost me to overhaul my engine. Hope it will still be around next week.

give him a call or leave a Pm for him , he is kind to keep for serious buyer ...

Oh dear then I would have missed two trackday liao~ Seriously thinking if I can get Power one/Diablo Supercorsa/Slick tyre for better lap timing~ Maybe it will be my last set of tyre on my beloved 250 so I think I can go little bit extreme?.....sigh~

Please pay Edwin a deposit or security fee to reserve parts...

Every time he keeps parts for "interested/serious buyers" *cough..(sonofa..)..cough* without putting a deposit, he always gets played out when the "interested/serious buyers" suddenly change their minds or need to buy that mink coat for their mistresses.

Then the real potential buyers who have the cash buy from elsewhere instead of from Edwin since the parts are 'reserved' and unavailable for purchase. Now poor Edwin is left hanging.

Put a deposit lah, just a sign of good faith. Unless you don't intend to keep your word, in which case, don't request to reserve.

Basic human decency lah. Pls know how to zo lang.

Why worry?

Full overhaul is around 900-1000 only mah.. (that is inclusive of labour and excluding a new / reconditioned 2nd hand block)

The carb is cheap! Go for it..

What's the point of getting the block ported when close to perfect tuning can be more than enough? Honestly, can you tell me that your butt can feel the difference between ported and not ported?

Why dont you get a new block and piston, run that on your bike, get awesome settings, then talk about porting? IMO, porting, whichever uneducated moron who does it in SG, probably doesnt know how to do it.

IF, you can have a baseline setting, and then port ur block, and use the same settings, and feel a difference, i'd concede that porting is good. The lousy mechs in SG know nuts about it.

You want new block, look for xxes123. Anyway, i thought you wanted to get a new polini and fix it yourself? I await to see your bike and your work. :)

Sorry, have you used a 34mm carb before? I'd have to take your review with a pinch, no a sack of salt, as you dont know how a normal 34mm carb feels compared to the racing carb.

Also, you're still running around with the new model exhaust system, if i'm not mistaken? That's going to get you in trouble with the TP and a wonderful donation of $500-$800 to the government soon.

Then again, i love feedback, so please fix it on and tell us how it feels. I'm more interested in knowing about throttle response, whether is it smooth and fast. :)

Mr Aaron, where you disappear? I waiting for you to feedback.

Decided against the BBK. The BBK will give more low end power but overall power won't go up much. What I want is power at higher RPMs. Using a cone, 34mm carb and jetting it properly (135 or 145 maybe) will give more power. Oh, and the vForce3 reed block too. I'll eventually put in a programmable CDI too. That won't be any time soon though since I'm keeping the bike till the COE expires.

Just a side note: The BBK doesn't rev as high as the stock either.

It's fine if I can't get it ported here. But do the racing teams like HKL do it?

RSV4 or ZX14 for class 2? :D

lols . . . sorry was damm busy . . . the throttle response was more crisp/more responsive as compare to my normal 34mm . . . smoother yes . . . faster I don't really knw cos I uncle . . . always ride slow but my bike was so much easier to ride now as compare before even when the settings are the same as its completely ported over from my previous 34mm . . . hahahahaha anyway the feedback is base on my personal experience/feel so it may varies . . . but to me I personally felt its worth my $ even if it cost slightly more than the normal version . . .
