Yes, we all agree.

But this applies only to engine mods, like changing of the port timings, lightening of drivetrain, flywheel, and ignition.

Any other aftermarket parts are always better than stock - the exhaust, front and rear suspension, brake systems, and reduction of unsprung weight.

To make a long story short, stock engine = reliable and durable; modified engine = shorter lifespan and less reliability.

For anything else, it's all good.

I do agree.... but ain't the brakes on the RS one of the best? the feel of the breaks and the precision of the brakes are superb.. haha... have nvr tried a brembo thou... haha... SP525 comes with brembo man.... haha....

Another stupid question from me..

How do i know that my bike is replica or stock? :sian:

dont mixed up with replica/stock, what they meant is, different year produces different bike, first extrema, then replica, y2k, lastly the 2006 and above version. Just google :thumb:

from your avatar. its the Y2k version with bumblebee pillion seat. i have seen your bike in Ngee Ann Poly before.

That would require me to learn a new engine inside out all over again. I guess I'm getting lazy. I've spent too long learning about and fixing the RS125, I'm not going to tinker with the RS250 for the next 10 years.

I can finish an overhaul for the RS125 in 6 hours. It'll probably take me 12 hours for the RS250... :faint:

Also, I'm not going to spend the equivalent of 2 Ducatis on my RS125s.

I am saving up for the RSV4 or RSV1000.

I still don't understand why you would sell off a rare bike you own, of which is probably be in fairly good condition, when you can afford to keep it, and now try to re-acquire one of which its condition you'd know nothing about.

I LIKE THIS SENTENCE : I am saving up for the RSV4.

bro u cannot buy a rsv1000. i only allow u to buy rsv4. hehehehe.

den i got one more kaki again when i get my class 2.

Nah, this is my first bike. i won't give up on her.

anyway, how often do you conduct DIY? sadly I cannot make it this sunday.

You have a Victoria's Secret lingerie model in bed with a 6-pack of Carlsberg? :D

You might wanna reconsider cos the next DIY is a LOOOOONG time from now... hahahaha

I may be wrong, but I'm sure Vik will agree that your "this is my first bike. i won't give up on her" claim won't stand for more than 10 months, like 95% of all Aprilia owners.

If u look back in the previous posts just a page back or so, the same question was asked. :faint:

There's 37 Motoring located at Eunos TechnoLink on the same stretch as Ideal Motor. Most aprilia owners go there to svc and tune their bikes. U can have a go at that shop dude. :)

That's exactly wat I'm doing right now dude...lol

Yes.. Like it was discussed just earlier, I highly recommend Teck Thye located along Braddell Road. He does Aprilia, Mito, almost any bikes.

And very very good I might add. :)

I always have problem starting my bike in the morning for work. So... i tried to turn on the ignition, twist the throttle a few times, then start. Worked for me. Sorry if it sounds a bit unorthodox seniors. I think there's good and bad doing that. But i sincerely forgot why. Getting a tad old i guess. Hahaha.. :faint:

Leave kill switch on, crank a few times, turn kill switch off and start normally.

This will clear the carb and cylinder.
