Yo guys. I'm a aprilian to be. Haha. I jus want to find out monthly maintenance other than 2t and spark plug, what else? Can I know the costs as well? Working my sums. Heeding Lawrence advice haha

oh ya! bro, you order from PJ before? Other than adding up the shipping fee and converting the euro to singapore dollar? any additional fees to pay? cause its seems kind of cheap compare to singapore bike shops man.

Anyone interested to buy a bluetooth headset + bike-to-bike intercom + music player?

hey im currently waiting 4 my practical test. when i get my 2b licence, thinking of getting a 2009 rs125, can anyone tell me roughly how much is the price currently in sg..n where 2 find that bike in sg,, cos im really into aprilia rs125 2009 version..=)

Hi Lawrence, this is Daniel. Thank you for the lesson on DIY. I just did a DIY again, did everything tat you taught us tat day. but this time i face some problem.

 

this was wat happen after My DIY:

 

It over heat and trip once while idling,(too rich or too lead)

It has a ticking sound everytime i turn the throttler.

I ride for a few round in the MSC, and it die after i stopped, and it can't start until now.

Saw some pink liquid under my bike the day we finish out DIY.

 

Do you have any ideas or exp with this problem?

The pink liquid might be coolant.

ANY FOOL CAN HOLD A TIGER BY THE BALLS, BUT IT TAKES A HERO TO KEEP ON SQUEEZING. And I am that f*cking hero...

Thanks, I know it's coolant. But I dun see any drop of level in the coolant reservoir.

What you mean by trip? Engine just dies off like that?

The word you're looking for is THROTTLE not throttLER.

Did you meddle around with the carburetor before any of the issues occured?

Subzero was juz trying to tell you that the pink liquid is coolant. You dont have to go all anally defensive on him.. :|

yes it just died like tat. I removed the carb and study it. Went to youtube search for vid on how the carb works and tunned.

 

yes i know he was trying to tell me its coolant, if he told me where are the area to check for leak and fixing it, i will greatly thank him.

There's many joints in the bike's cooling system mah. You can slowly try to wipe clean, see which joint it was that was leaking out the coolant.

 

 

If you disassembled the carb, probably there's something somewhere you did not replace back properly. Happened to the best of us too sometimes. Also, maybe when you tinkered, you'd probably messed up the settings abit.

Dear Bullmoo,

 

If you know it's coolant, then you should have just stated it, instead of saying pink liquid etc.

 

Also, I'm not too sure about how often you have DIYed, but IMO, if you start doing things yourself after just ONE session with Lawrence, you're bound to be helpless if you run into problems. There'll be no one for you to consult when you screw up your bike.

 

I believe Izecubez has answered your question. Or you can always give Lawrence a call to ask him. :)

Hi sub zero, im sorry if i had used the wrong word for my prev post. I dun have Lawrence contact, thats why i post here to ask for help.

 

the heat may cause by tuning it too lead.(from some website) but the plug look as black as before.

checked the hose, no sight of leak of coolant.

Still unable to start.
