Nobody attempt to try get Priller to go JB. I tried so many times, I've given up!

He's paranoid someone will steal his bike! Dont deny it bro, the countless times i ask you go PG!

I go JB 2-3 times a week to pump petrol, during the daytime. At night, i usually go with atleast 1 friend.

I pump at the Esso that's next to a 24hr coffeeshop. All brightly lit. Best part, since i became a regular, they recognize me and I have good service from them.

For example, there was once it was raining in the morning when we were at JB, planning to go track. Our dear Shandatou left his bike in front of the coffeeshop and rode with us in the car. We came back like 3hrs later. Bike still there, under the watchful eyes of the coffeeshop workers. And we all know how much that pimped out bike is worth!

It's all a matter of perspective. In any case, nothing will happen when u go as a big group especially. Just dont find problem. :)

I vote to just makan in SG, talk cock, chill out somewhere then go home. :)

Haha.. Yeah bro i know. :faint:

So many times u ask to ride up i scared lah. If really stolen then how..? I :faint: sia.

Shadantou different lah. U never see what flag he paste on his bike ah?! That one symbolizes "Tan Sri" one u know. :cheer:

Just kidding bro! :p

I also used to ride up alone once every 3 days for petrol, supper, cigs and DVD too on weeknights with my previous Rs. I can't tahan the jam at the causeway. Really terrible. Plus my engine overheats fast. Well, i see how lah. Might change my mind and ride to jb if i feel like it though. Just the worrying part lah. :(

If got big group also better. As long as all ride together2 in a pack. :)

So which date and where to?

Posted

agree wif bro sub zero. i think jb's quite safe la. But i still dun dare to go in alone. always with 4 bikes average. the least oso 1 person must follow ah. and we will always ride together. as for stolen bikes, me n my frens usually go to the esso near the old checkpoint to head towards sg there. and after that theres a mamak shop behind we buy ciggies n chill for a while. If going to eat we go to new york hotel. All these places the parking is always in our sights. so very minimal chance of getting our bikes stolen.

Feelicks : bro im up for anyth man. actually if the time frame is ard 10pm i would prefer we stay in sg. coz fri nite. earliest i usually go is 12mn to avoid the jam. So bottomline, im up for a meetup be it at jb or sg. anywhere oso dosent matter. I'll go wherever my RS can bring me =)

Sweetttttt. Have been umming and ahhing about getting frame sliders for a while now. I still have your PM to me personified, and will be seriously considering getting this done next month. I know others do non-cut frame sliders, but I've read that they provide little protection. R&G ones require frame cutting, so presumably will be more rigidly attached to the bike.

Yes u are right bro..because i seen some non cut ones where the bracket snaps off and its sayonara fairing....

btw rider is hospitalised for 5 days..lets wish him a speedy recovery

I'm grinning ear to ear reading about how paranoid some of the guys here are when it comes to crossing the border. Whenever my mum went up north to visit her siblings, I had dinner in JB every night. Plus, what's so bad about traveling up there alone?

Look at quikslvr. Anytime, he'll suddenly go up Melaka to visit friends and relatives. He's still here aint he? :p

Yah just for your guys info i went up to Muar with my CBR 600 on fri nite for my bro's wedding.Suppose to go back on sun but bike cant start! So towed to a workshop in Muar and i went home by express bus with my helmet, jacket etc.Theres a few shop there which can service big bikes.Drop by the shop before i left home on mon n saw a SG plate R1,1 ducati 999 n few other cl 2 bikes.Problem still not yet rectified.Mech says all the 4 piston low compression n explained to me about valve/shims which i dont really understand.Probably take about 3-4 days to at least a week to get it done. Now whos up to pillion me to Muar to take my bike?? Will treat u petrol and asam pedas at Parit Jawa.Power!

Hope you guys have fun then. Stay safe.

Maybe one of these days I'll share with you guys the reason why I won't hang around in JB.

I would even choose to clock an additional 30km by going to Pasir Gudang via 2nd Link than go through JB.

I'm on with either makan at JB -alternatively- Woodlands.

Lets meet up first at Woodlands Rasa-Rasa Coffee Shop - assess the traffic on the causeway (using iPhone + our eyes). If its healthy we go JB.. otherwise, we'll chat up and eat at Woodlands. Howzat?

When? I'm alright with this Friday or Next Friday.. But like what Subzero said, next Friday its the Festival of Lights - lotsa ppl will be going across the border to combo up the FRi-Sat-Sun 3 day holiday combo..

Timing - After 10pm would be great to fit most of the peeps' schedule.

Ride safe..!

Actually, you can observe the traffic conditions online, and there's even an iPhone app that does just that, to view traffic conditions on highways, and the Causeway as well.

No need to eyeball it. You can enjoy your kopi at Woodlands while you keep your iPhones running!

bro just a simple quick question pardon me i know. its not im lazy but the search function only helps me find the aprilia rs125 not the fuel consumption. so how much per litre can this beast run? total of 14 litre for the rs125 someone can please give me a quick average detailed sum? thanks very much appreciating the effort to answer me. got new budget considering this rather then a r15 now.

Posted

u want good fc get wave lah... dont buy a aprilia... also depends on what u mod what is ur tuning also.... can afford to ride it than dont think about FC.... if saving a couple of bucks seems impt for u.. than think about changing/repair parts n stuff... price esti = block cost 800+ piston 200+ this and that... can eat grass n drink air liao.... i clock ard 24-25 per litre.

Well, I'm all up for dinner/rounding in SG.

crow, r15 and rs125 are very different bikes. 2strokers and 4strokers can never be compared regarding FC. I'm throttle heavy at times, clocking an average of 18-19km/l.
