if we did cross the border to Mexico, i can imagine the awkwardness in having our Italian bikes arranged in one column in front of the shady Mexican kapchai gangstas in the hood with their burritos.

Thank goodness we didnt.. it was a big group. Can and may be enticing...

suf u go ask the guys who went dam what happen. we got chased by a grp of big bike riders, and while juz relaxing minding our own business, we got blown by mats on 125z's. lol

serious? whow so our 125cc Italion Stallions are in league with big bikes (at least in their heads), its usually mistaken for 1000cc anyway.. About the 125z kapchais usually i'll let them pass and ignore, no way an ikan bilis bike is in the same league as us. I'd usually see their disappointed gestures turning back looking when i didnt give a damn about giving a race with em.

Ashraf if and when we do have an outing @ botak, i gotta starve myself and be mentally prepared.. cos it was a challenge for me to finish up their phat burger. :)

Carl's Jr despite being non-halal, there are a couple of positive stuff like - *nice Ducatis, nice Aprilias, ahem..* good ambience and big carpark. Its alright for me since its supper - only cold milo is sufficient for my fuel tank.

I think a big phat spacious carpark is a prerequisite for future mass outings. Good avenue to fall in for last parade + RO + Message of the day.

Ride safe..!

Erm... How abt the 17th? It's a holiday though. Maybe can meet up at abt 8pm. That way those who have to work the following day can also spend some time, and then go home slightly earlier. Anyone up for that date? Or should we put it sometime in December? :?

And where to go..? Clementi McDonalds? Buona Vista coffee shop? Changi Village? Jalan Kayu parking abit problematic if there's a huge group. Some will have to park out at the grass patch. I dont want anyone's bike to topple over when parking there. :faint:

Maybe we can have a 'Touge' later on also after dinner. :)

i was fixing a different kind of two stroker while you guys were out playing with yours.

some other time.

The kind that involves baby lotion and kleenex or the tzm? :p

My bike is showing confusing symptoms. It's been like this for one week after I service it.

- Difficult to start in the morning, have to use choke.

- Able to start easily after warmed up.

- Spark plug is wet, when I checked it after bike warmed up or even after riding it around for a while.

Is my bike running rich? Will it show these symptoms if it run too rich?

How do I properly use the air-screw to mitigate this problem? should I open it more to allow more air hence leaner mixture?

Btw, the position of the air-screw is the bigger screw on the right hand side of the of the bike right? Please bear with a newbie here, I've been reading up but I just want to confirm it.

Edit: I'm using stock 28mm carb.

Thanks.

The following can be widely found in Dellorto tuning manuals.

Your 28mm carb has a mixture screw, not air screw. Works in the opposite. Closing it will lean the mixture.

hi my dear filla frens have you guys seen a red rs 125 05 model on road or anywhere ???? plate no fbc 8128 ??

So sorry to hear about your stolen property. Do you mind sharing how and from where did it get stolen?

Been reading this forum intently and trying to learn as much as i can. Now just need to put in practice some good ol' DIY. Looking forward to the next session. Hoping to learn basics like changing spark plug, cleaning valve etc.

I hear this a lot. But 9 out of 10 riders who "want to get their hands dirty" actually prefer to go out shopping for a blouse that matches their purse they carry their tampons in, than to really get their hands dirty. So we'll see what kind of rider you are in time. :D

1. Due to the extremely limited storage space, im thinking of getting a seat bag. Anyone has thoughts on this? I saw a decent one at motorworld for $130 though have not tried if it can fit our tiny back seat. Are these safe to leave on the bike most of the time? Ease of attaching and detaching? Anyone using this?

2. I need to get my bike serviced (since i dont know how to DIY yet) and my temperature gauge is totally out of whack, ive read past posts and Ah Seng seems to come highly recommended. I also read he moved to a different place recently? Confused as to where i can find him now. Please advise.

Thanks guys!

Not safe. Singapore is a lot like China, we became affluent too quickly, so much that our culture cannot keep up. Developed nation economy, 3rd world mentality. Most SGeans are still very opportunistic. If anyone sees something nice and shiny on your bike, they will attempt to steal it. If you intend to get a tail bag, you can consider this http://axioluggage.com/tailbag_silver.html

But still, don't leave it on your ride.

You can find Ah Seng in the same building as the Ducati showroom in Kaki Bukit Road 1, Eunos Technolink. The workshop name is 37 Motoring.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

hi all,, this morning bike can not start... press start button, can only hear a very weak single "click" sound below the front part of petrol tank , but motor doesn't turn... is my starter motor spoiled already??.. everything was ok on Monday...

battery voltage is 11v+.. but don;t think it is the battery because all the time the voltage was around this level... just changed the spark plug last week,,

Oh, had tis prob be4... Tt click sound means smth is tripping ur circuit... In my case it was my starter motor tt was stuck.. Recommend u bring e bike to ur mech n get it sorted there... Unless u noe how to zero in on which system of ur bike is tripping e circuitry via trial n error, there's nothing much u can do...

the one and only...
