hi all im thinking of changing to 34mm carb to my brand new bike isit advisable wat r the plus n minuses?n wat other parts to recommend n the cost pls thks all

 

in my POV... change.. but before changing ride awhile in ur 28mm than change so u will feel the diff... sound from pipe also abit diff. bare in mind FC will affect abit.

Why not get aftermarket rubber hose one shot? At serangoon near 219 bikeshop nearer to LAb they selling 'Hel' brake hoses. Last time they quoted me abt $160. Now dunno if they raised the price or not.

Okay today i spent the whole day at 37 motoring, had difficulty finding but called a few of you guys and got the right directions, thanks. in the end got a front hel at 85, spent some time with ah seng, he was quite busy in the end i borrowed tools and did the simple stuff like removing carb and change inlet haha! then he busy with a s4. I CHANGED TO 34MM! aww man now i know what ive been missing out! it feels fantastic especially in the higher registers!, the px cone filter gave the low throaty growl kinda cute, feel really fun now! i think ill install tyga reeds, and an overhaul, followed by a nice paintjob then ill just enjoy my ride

Thats cheap. Maybe u can post a price list/special offer/price packages/svc packages for all of us here. Might entice some of us to give ur shop a try amongst our trusted mechanics.

yeah, my baby is up and running now.

and im super happy with its performance.

the ride feels damn good now.

 

changed to premix, removed the 2T gear in the crankcase, did electrical grounding and installed a electrical water cooler.

Haha..! I'm sure u're having a whale of a time with ur bike now dude. Gonna install the electric water pump soon too, after doing up my rear shocks. Going premix sure is blissful.

No idea when it'll be in sG yet. Might wanna call M*h to check since they're aprilia's agent in sG. Some detail about the bike and its engine:~
