hey guys! how many of u use aftermarket reeds like boyeseen or vforce 3? any additional tuning required after installation?

Not sure if I can join them cos I'm sure by the time they reach yishun dam, it will be quite late already. Got to make the 2 kids sleep. My wife alone can't handle them unless my mum can help me. wahahaha ...... I try to see if I can go.

As far as i'm concerned, just drop by if u and the rest of the legends are free. I was in the ARC forum waay back for a short while only so dunno the whole lot previously. Only knew Subzero and Lawrence. More friends is better than more enemies.

i would recommend the boyesen over vforce.

vforce reeds are made of CF and would fray aft some time of usage, faster than boyesen.

a boyesen reed on stock reed block is good enough.

then again, this is in my opinion.

seniors pls advise.

 

boyesen dosent need additional tuning.

it aids in smoother intake when throttled, not the amount of intake.

im not sure abt vforce though.

Thanks bro and we are not legends la. Same like everyone, we are just enthusiast about bikes. Some of us is bz with family/work and some has upgrade to a bigger bikes. But still the Aprillia group is the best and left a beautiful memories behind.

Wan, I was looking thru your list of bikes... I think you just get the 2011 ZX10, you'll complete the Japanese family.. Then you can get the RSV4 so you can finally be a true blue member of the Aprilia family. Remember the huge outing where there was only 1 Mito? Hehehe.
