if u got it tuned at teck thye dan it shld b ur riding technique... nothing to do wif ur pipe. e whole reason y u wanna set ur mixture screw is to optimize e amount of fuel running in ur idle circuit to ur current system specs... remember, its a 2 stroke, riding in e powerband is e key to avoid fouling

Actually I rode 2000km, riding mostly out of the powerband and below the 6k mark, my plug did not foul.

 

I determine based on my experience(I newly abbreviate, BOME) that the mixture screw should be set to the point where your bike does not need to throttle to start up, can manage half clutch closed throttle without stalling. That should be a good start, works well for me but please school me if your settings prove to work better for our machines.

Regarding the block, i cancelled the order coz they were taking forever to ship it out and also coz i wanted to get he italkit bbk that time. But i think i might be ordering it again coz i have only one cylinder now. If theres one thing i learnt frm my seizure is that it important to have a spare cylinder. And esp since im going to put in a flat top piston in my rebuild, so just in case i screw anything up got spare.

 

After my seizure i sent the seized block for polishing and porting to my friend. From what i know, he enlarged the intake and exhaust ports, and did some knife edging. The bike ran well and it seemed like the power kicks in more forcefully when the valve opens. But i only managed 50km before my circlip came loose and f**ked up the cylinder. so cant comment much. But im gona have the same porting work done on my 2nd hand cylinder which i got off a dude in the UK. Hopefully with a flat top piston n head i might get some power. Still deciding btw a twin ring flat top and a single ring though.

This sunday is the BRS at Pasir Gudang. Thinking of going down to see how the local RS125s are performing against the intense competition.

 

From what I hear, it's going to be superduper exciting. Apparently, 1 RS125 rider has been boasting alot about how good he is, so the KRRs are all gearing up for some revenge. It should be a fun race. One of our riders, blaquepearl is racing, and he has invited supporters to his Pit no. 22.

 

Anyone interested in following me?? Race is at 3pm. We can meet about 12.30pm, and take a slow ride up to PG. So far, got 1 or 2 riders coming already. Anyone else??

anyone know whats the model # or dimension of the k&n panel filter to fit our airbox?

Not sure about panel but for cone should be RC-9630

tuning is not a one time fix all thing. it takes many many tries and tuning sessions to get it right. So getting it "tuned at teck thye before" does not mean that tuning is not the problem.

 

Spark plug foul not a complicated problem. Only a few reasons.

1) Ur using a plug which is too cold

2) Theres too much 2T in ur mixture

3) Ur mixture is too rich

 

Im betting that its number 3. Go back to the shop and get this sorted out.

 

Also just my opinion, i think ur wasting ur time chaning to a 34mm carb with a stock pipe. Pipe shud be number 1 priority.

There be a free practise in the morning, qualifying in noon n race around

3 plus.. Time table not up yet as changes are being made..

The 4 RS riders are Sauzi,Din,Wan n Me.

Most interesting will be Wan, he be riding the Spain #1 .

I have 5 spare suits n They are all in my size, 48-50
