Looks stock to me, unless I can take a closer look. Bike looks familiar, and looks good too.

Which shop are you buying from?

 

Yup, it'll be good to bring it to Ah Seng for a full service. Wash carb, valve, and change gearoil. I wouldnt trust most bikeshops that sell their bikes to get it in tiptop shape. Might be dropping by Ah Seng next week, maybe I might see you there. :)

 

When are u going? Maybe can get advise frm u..=)

oh no... if its a 5 yr COE extention, u wont b able to extent after e expiry date n must export or scrap e bike... mayb tts y he's selling it 4 so cheap...

In my opinion that's not possible as it's manufactured on 2006..unless it's e older version of rs.. So anyway without hesitation I called back e bike shop and was told it's till 2016..=) with all e accessories I'm abit worried as e price sold to me was less then 7k..either I got a gd deal or there's something else..

I wanna part out, but my stock stuff all sold off alrdy mah. A few guys approached me for the 3 items (u know what they are) wanting to swap and topup cash. But there's no guarantee that my bike can be sold as stock even after i part with the parts. A fcuked up bikeshop just quoted me 4.5k all in, as is. Crazy mofos. So guess i'll hold onto it. Prolly next year buy another bike after the aprilia is totally done up. Then see what happens next to this aprilia. :angel:

No bro. Trick is, find a buyer for the stock bike, then sell off your accessories. You know some items confirm will be sold right? So you can afford to hold on to them first. But in any case, my wish came true.. You'll be keeping your bike. hehe. Yeah! Now I can drag you to PG! Wooohooo..

I think maybe Wed to Fri. Will update you. :) Waiting for some parts to arrive to send over. I cant advise much. I'm a noob too. I learnt alot from the seniors here. I CAN tell you who's a ex convict, who to look for to get 2ndhand parts, who's scary, who's mean.

I only took a quick snap..they've yet to do up e bike..can't wait for e collection on wed..and soon after to ah seng as recommended to get it check..keeping my fingers cross e engine alls gd..I just have a feeling e previous owner goes to track judging by e tyres...was told previous owner upgraded to R1..bros here ring any bells?

There are many newer bikes for sale here in the forum that's cheap. My stock shocks, forks plus the clutch and brake levers all no have alrdy mah. Then must go thru the trouble to ask people. Haiz. Rather sell it as a whole to any new rider or something. After the overhaul, all is well. Just some minor tweaks to be done here and there. Definitely not a jackpot machine or anywhere close to the experts' rides, but comfy to ride.

 

I will keep the bike. And in any case, sorry bro. This bike won't be in pG running arnd. :) I don't care what people say. If i happen to fall there, nobody is gonna be footing the bill for the repairs but me. :faint:

Don't need to boost any sale... The Carbonator is sold already... Now am praying very hard that he passes his TP in Sept so that he can pay off the other half and collect the bike (before I crash it).

 

Next bike to be sold is the Y2K with slight mods... heh heh... That one is going for an awesome price of $4K. Friend price is $3K...

Wish I could but am in New York until 2 September.

 

Also, next time I meet up with you guys, you have to slow down for me... My bike has only enough bhp to carry a road hogging ticket, nothing more.

hey aprilians.. just wondering.. what 2t and engine oil u guys use? which is recommended for the rs125? im looking for a smooth ride.. not much vibration.. not so much into speed actually.. thanx!

If you're not into the whole speed thing, cooking oil is best.

For less vibration & smoothness, you should use 2T oil that have less viscosity (less thick). From silkolene, motul 2T, mobil one racing, bel ray(smelly 2T).

 

I recommend Mobil ONE Racing and Belray. Used both without any issues. Belray is more fluid than Mobil, but is kinda smelly.. Hehe.
