Grey, try to gauge when you hit reserve, so in future you won't run into this kind of

from my manual, Replica model fuel tank has a capacity of 13L with 3L of reserve

and Y2K 13L with 3.5L of reserve.

 

but best is still see the mileage lah..

and lastly, different riding style will have different in fuel consumption too..

brudder eyz..referring to your fake reserve, could it possibly be ur reserve fuel line is clogged? try changing the fuel line for your reserve portion of the tank, maybe it'll work. Cos when i did fuel up my aprilia when empty it read 12 L and of course the remaining still in there lar, or else bike wld have died on the way to petrol station, so don't think its fake lei.

Brudder eyz, thanks for the write up. I went to the kiosk and top up and it shows 12.4 litres. I guess should be empty. Is your replica a newer version of Y2k? Your last y2k how far can your full tank go?

and guys...dont be like me = a noob = to pump your bike with the side stand on, u'd never get any petrol in cos the pump will keep clicking off. sit on the bike and pump and pump all the way till its full

no lah, replica is the old version, with smaller fairing..

i dunno bout the consumption of my old Y2K, cos before I sold it, the speedo gear

was spoilt..

bk, hmm you mite be right... mayb it's really clogged and bcos of no reserve, i had

to tow my bike once when it runs out of petrol on the expressway.. :giddy:

aniwaes, slimshady where do u live? I think I can help u with those screws coz i take them out quite often coz everytime got things like allen key, screwdriver, spanner, screw, key etc. drop inside den haf to take out fairing one

 

stingrhea, I've emailed aprilia b4 and they refered me to MAH, but I've never recieved any response ever since. I doubt they'll release it for us to use the rs pipe legally. If give us then their new 03 rs125 liao not attractive liao. Anyway, who needs the rs pipe when u can put a hidden arrow, crouching milo inside?

mirrors..mm sigh. can try first motor? or ideal at ubi. Very few places have them la... one place that have is definately mah pte, but its going to cost.

If im not wrong, a original mirror costs at least $50 for 1 side

 

but no worries la, u can put in a repsol mirror though
