i heard RS125 can get the stainless steel valve... any1 haf any ideas where and how much i can get it???

brake fluid, i need to top up, but have never done so before.

 

do i just get any brand from any shop of DOT 4 brake fluid? or do i have to specifically use a certain brand?

 

not sure why but my rear brake fluid level has just dropped below MIN. need answer urgently.

thnx fibre...btw how do u top it up? manual says to use a syringe so as not to pour too much in and to not spill all over the bike. don't think u can get syringes readily off the shelves so what do u use? just a simple funneL?

any1 for 00-03 i think its the same.

 

with pillon

front: 180 +- 10

rear: 230 +- 10

 

without pillon

front: 180

rear: 200

er an advice to use ur own pressure gauge as those electronic ones are not accurate too!

i use a syringe to do the topping up

its not a good idea to use a funnel coz its inaccurate and more easy to spill. brake fluids and paint dont make a good match

 

I got my syringe from guardian for less than $1!

get the 12ml one, it fits just nice

well not really sure bout mods 4 aprilia.... try putting full arrow system, daytona fast throattle, sprocket, chain, grinded or bigger carb, grinded piston and bore, change all gears fer better ratios, power booster, k&n filter... i heard dat can put 2 valve into aprilia... try asking ard

try changing the sucky sachs shocks to something better. bitubo? or some adjustable racing ones

do u guys DIY to clean ur valve? possible to teach me? if pics would be best, like how terry form the cagiva planet thread has been doing?

 

i only know there are 2 allen bolts that must be removed, is that all? what to watch out for? falling stuff, e.g. washers, etc.

After beign shown how to take out the valve by servoprax(thanks!), u just have to use allen key to unscrew the 2 screws can liao

i used to organize DIY sessions for those that wana tinker wif their bikes but just dun noe or dun dare to do it. simple stuffs like tyre alignment, rear shox ajdjustment, valve cleaning, radiator flush, fuse change, bulb change, air filter claening, carb cleaning.

 

so if anyone is interested, we can dedicate one saturday or sunday afternoon to do DIY at my place. u guys just bring da stuffs necessary for the activity. if u unsure, can always check wif me. Im not a know-it-all person but all da years of trial and error and peer learnings have thought me a thing or two which i hope to share.

Enuff bout the policitis parts,here are some of the details of the charity.

 

I was thinking a few ways we can help the charity homes or organisation. First is we need to identify what kinda of assistance we can provide and what they need.

 

I am sure not money is the only things which is on thier minds.There are definetlly others

 

this is what i have in planned.

 

If we are going to a old folks home,what can we offer other than $$?

1: Company,we can listen or entertain them

2: Housekeeping

3: Simple repairs

4: Foods

 

If we are going to a orphanage, what can we offer other than $$?

1: 2nd Clothings

2: Toys( New or Second hand)

3: Play games

4: Food

5: Be thier mentor for a day

 

If we are going to a handicapped home, what can we offer than $$?

1: Follow and join the classroom session

2: Bring them out

3: Toys

4: Others( havent crack my brains hard enuff to get answers)

 

Secondly what kinda of homes we plan to go?

Assistance gave by govt, self independant homes?

 

I had a few homes or place in my list

Woodylogde home for the desitute

MINDS

Children Home

Also try to find a location that can fit in about 100 bikes.(estimated.)

I was hoping that each biker to bring at least 2 toys as a gift for the oprhanage and some tin can food for the old folks and some old clothings. dont worry i aint that evil to expect u bring all those stuff on your bikes cept the toys. I will try to get a van to bring in all the stuff.

 

And also i am targeting to get each bikers to donate $20 for the whole event. i do hope it doesnt sound too expensive. if it doest pls feel free to voice up.

 

For the riding part. I have made plans to have 3 different route but still end up in the same location. Eg group 1 take Road A and end up at B. Group 2 take road C and still end up at B and so forth. This is to avoid convoy riding and mass jam and also to create a AWARENESS and SAFETY.

 

The Group for each bike have been set to a Max of 20 or 15 bikes from each group and a min of 7 or 10. This is to ensure we can have enuff parking lots and also easier for the TL to manage. I understand this maybe frustrating however as you we stay in sillypore not other country. If this is malaysia i am all agreed for a huge turnout.

 

For the mixed groups or those with out grouping pls feel free to contact me and i will get a TL to lead you guys ok dont be dissapointed.

 

For this event if you guys want to have a tshirt it would be great. The tshirt will have a printout of Bikers With a Big Heart.( subject to approval from all the TL)

 

Ok so far i do hope i gave you guys some ideas how this whole event gonna be. for those who need further clarification or in doubt pls feel free to PM me.

 

It is a little bit to discuss the whole agenda on the forum here as it is better for me to explain it offline. i would seek your kinda understanding.

Hey guys, I'm bringing back this event again.

Apparently, the organiser had checked with the relevant legal department, it seems

that the authority allowed this kind of huge riding, as long as the bikes are not

ridden in convoy.

 

So how guys?? Wanna join?? Tentatively, the date is set somewhere around in June.

Most probably, it will be school holiday. Come on man guys, servoprax

will be the TL for Aprilia. I would like to suggest to the Mito guys, maybe both of us

will combine together as a group.
