Anyway, i live in landed property bro.. My hse smack in the centre.. so i jus circle around inside the housing estate.. Hehe, unless TP come in to hide and talk c***, i should be safe..

 

I sien also coz my baby at shop.. my cousin supposed to pick up today but they havent finish servicing.. Hopefuly she come back by tmr..

 

Wat model you riding anyway? price etc. Post a pic la..

me riding fr y2k wad abt u leh.. huh how come ur baby in shop leh? liew my 1 the ex owner.. really him ah.. he maintain till abt 1 week nvr start go thr.. 1 push start oreadi.. but den liew i feel lyk idiot last nite went there wan test ride tot canot start do alot of stupid thing even try push start.. find out tt red switch nvr on.. -_-

The bike does look nice in the pic.. I can give 1 good advice i learn fm this forum..

 

Get an experienced Aprilian like Law, Eyz to follow you down to check it out.. So you dun kena cheat.. lol

 

From wat my brother taught me,when buying a bike, check for engine, suspension condition of the break pads and disc and bikes like Aprilia must make sure the starter motor all good.. I'm not too sure abt the finer details of assessing a bike but i'm sure the guys here will help you with that!

haha.. you funny la.. But i know how you feel.. We just starting out to be bikers so understandable la..

 

My bike got abit white smoke come out leh.. At 1st i thot carbon so my cousin go whack and clear.. after that still got.. My cousin mechanic liao.. so he suspect sumthing to do with the 2T.

 

So he bring to shop ask them to drain out the old 2T ( he think the previous owneruse lousy 2T) and put in new one...

 

Haiz.. i so sad without my baby... Mine is a replica FQ plate liao I think 99 model..

 

I ask you ah.. your display got this 3 little buttons rite? you know for wat or not.. I only managed to set the time.. the rest of the data i not sre wat leh.. i think 1 is engine temp.. the rest not sure..

haha im no pro yet when it comes to aprilia as im a new owner too but frm wad i noe when i started my bike the white smoke ALOT but after awhile of riding.. its ok oreadi.. wah den ride arnd car park i go gear 2 throttle quite hard at certain rpm can feel the valve open n power kick in.. wah... fantastic feeling man.. lol

 

if im nt wrong the digital display is to show u the time, lap timer (can actually start by pressing on the button below ur left handlebar i tink shd be same on ur model but mine is oreadi not working. duno if it can be fixed or not.. display also shows coolant temperature and battery voltage.

 

ps. can teach me how to set the time? (as in which button does wad) no time to really try it out as seldom at dads office there =(

its using milo kong loh =( lols.. hmm mods ah.. nt sure leh most prolly will do a hidden arrow crouching milo.

 

hey any of u aprilians noe how to actually hide the arrow into a milo? coz i might haf the tools to cut the milo n even the welding machine but i nvr seen how its done b4 so maybe 1 of these days try ownslef do or sth? if not would be bringing it to msia n do oreadi

Well mate, it sounds ok.. But you gotta make sure the bike is running well! No. 1 adivce.. Ask experienced Aprilian to follow you down to check it out! Haha... unfortunately i not experienced so i cant help..

 

Also if you wanna cut down on insurance money, u shld buy the bike under ur bor, or cousin or someone who has a class 2A or class 2 license and have been riding for quite a few years.. then you jus add yourslef as a sub rider.. that's wat i'm doing...

ya la bro.. the initial white smoke is the carbon that was accumulated...

 

ok, thanx for clearing with me wat the diplay shows.. I managed to set the time by just guessing lor.. My bike not wit me so i cant see and tell you.. but once i get it back, i shall try and tell you ok??

 

If you look closely ah, you can see each button got a letter next to it.. Hoepfully someone here tells us wat it stands for..

 

I'mnot too sure wether u can bring shop and repair your lap setting button lio.. Coz i think that's got to do with the on board computer.. maybe can, maybe cannot... Best bet is bring to dealership and ask..
