3. Post your name, ph no. for people to contact you for outings.

 

PM each other or talk about it in person.

Im not asking people to be selfish in keeping mods to yourself.

 

At the end of the day, how will you justify a fine/confiscation of part/bike just cause you posted a message up here?

Think about it.

The fine is most likely going to cost more than An Arrow!

we're talking bout mods, just traffic offences and not anything criminal...

Time and time again I have always advised about the things that are not advised to say or rather declare. I hope the seniors still remember this. Think ahead of the repercussions.

 

Eg : U can discuss about mods. But to blatantly declare u have it on... its a complete no no unless its a legal one.

Yes, its high alright. Dats y I need to get the coolant changed ASAP. Bad experiences with turbo charged vehicles.

I think it will be cheaper to get the coolant changed frequently than ride fast & pay speeding fines.

I hope there's no misunderstanding with regards to this issue. It ever happened once and I dont want to see it happen to our guys again. The ambush at Kallang KFC on some occasions should open up our eyes to the reality of the law. While every effort is taken to provide our members with the ride of our life, we shall not be responsible for the repercussions later on from blatant confirmation and admittance on illegal mods on our members bikes.

 

Remember that many people watch our thread. We post photos from outings. We forget to blank out our plates. Its fine for some of us but to those with mods ? Open declaration on your recent purchase of the arrow pipe by all means go ahead if its legal.

 

My cousin who works in a law firm confirms that whatever we type here is able to be used against us if the need requires. True or not i do not wish to find it out the wrong way.

 

Like eyz said, " we shud discuss wat are the mods we can do to our bikes..." rather than declare what we already have on.

 

The rest i leave it to ur descretion..... Lets not turn this hobby into one with a link to the law.

Well, regarding the coolant change, before i changed the green stuff to Redline water wetter, the temp was lower, after i change to waterwetter, my normal temp when riding is around 80 on a hot noon lor..

 

 

no power till 10k rpm? well, better get it sorted out. Either you valve starting to get jammed or seriously need some tuning. Haha, maybe got chance, ride ride your bike to see what kind of no power you talking about. Maybe you driven too much turbo charged cars liao. :bounce:

Yes, I might go by his shop on Sat, will give him a ring the night before to check that he's open.

 

 

I think Im used to the bike in terms of straight line speed.

Love feeling the pull of the Gs but I know this bike is not for this purpose.

Though I would admit, once I hit 10,000rpm, I had better hang on, acceleration is decent in the zone.

 

Dont think there's anything wrong with the bike, Ah Chai from Pleasure MotorSports said pickup is pretty decent after taking it for a spin.
