sting: why is it that you need a service manual??

are you going to service the bike yourself???

or you need the manual in order to get your RS pipe licenced??

:thumb: nice 1 bro...

i'm interested in the led signal n brake lite~

any catalogue?? got see how it looks like..

what is the new race paint??

yah yah.. i ran in my engine the hard way..

120km/h max recommended by servo.. still waiting to feel the loss of

power..

been told by a fellow Aprilian that the new gained power of the engine

will soon fade within 3 months.. that is running in by the manual stated

method...

i'll just  that it would not be that in my case...

da led signal lite is already on my bike. however there is another model available.. i'll bring u down to the place and show it to ya.

it wont fade so fast lar... u tried my bike already rite... u should noe... :) been almost a 6 mths since i changed piston and run it in hard.

yeah saw it... i was thinking that mayb you could try slotting you rear signal lite into the side of your rear brake lite, as it seems to be that the led is flexible... so you bend a bit and stuff it in..

then tah dah!! you got a combi brake and signal lite~ hehe

hey bro, how about meeting tml nite??

sat i'm not free man

shud take a look at the new race paintwork. saw one on the road just afew days ago. chio...... but tink its gona be a common paintwork soon just like da old gold MS lion design

ya the old gold race looks quite ugly IMO. the new white ones looks a bit faggoty, but chio nonetheless.

i think this new one looks way better than the old

i saw frm other threads that aprilia needs careful maintainance thus is a tough bike to maintain. but it might b better to hearefrm aprilia riders themselves rite? care to share the pros and cons of a aprilia rs125? which yr productions is the best? also, my height onli 168 and not intending to get class 2a. is it advisable to get rs 125?:bouncefire:

Posted

if u hav $$ try to get new.

most rs125's are thrashed, banged, un-maintained machines, so unless u noe the previous owner very well, try to get new.

at least u know the only person up on the seat first is you. My height is only 166 fyi.

hey that's sounds cool. but is it really hard to maintain the bike? what probs does a rs125 usually hav? and which yr production is better?

Posted

no one really maintain and fix everything on the bike ourselves..

some of us can only do a bit of cleaning valve, changing spark plug, signal lite, lever, engine oil, washing of carb..

as for anything that do with engine, we'll bring it to the workshop for the

mechanic to handle..

as long as you got the dough, don't worry bout the maintenance, by the

way it's not that much anyway... it also depends how much do you ride..

some of us here do the maintenance ourselves for certain reasons..

some do it to save $$, some do it as they love their bikes and would like

to handle themselves while some just wanna get some hands on..

theres a bike accessories shop at lembu road in front of mustaffa cafe ( mustaffa centre ). i ever asked for vesrah pads there. da people were nice and even offered me a discount. 24 bux for sintered. not bad pricing lah IMO. they are also agent for KNN filters. maybe u wana check it out. got los of stuff there. name should be eversuccess if im not wrong.

desker road got this accessories shop also. cant remember da name. got some interesting stuffs.

i also have dis guys number who seem to have a few intereting products dat are worth looking at and are not seen in other shops.

I would rather fellow aprilian go and outsource ur aftermaket accessories and not be too dependent on a particular bike shop to get them as u might be able to get them cheaper elsewhere seriously.

if possible, get it from a private buyer..

there's a guy lousibong selling his Y2K for 1.8k

kinda cheap.. you can try taking a look..

another Y2K in oxydo paint with single seater, selling for 3K+

if you're going to buy from a shop.. be prepared to fork out more..

best is to get it from a private seller, but you gotta really check that everything is ok.. if not deduct the amount which you are going to spend on the spoilt parts..

if buy from shop... "mayb" they can give you a few months of warranty..

is your chain slacking a lot?

maybe you can adjust the rear wheel adjuster a bring up the slack...

i remembered once when i was going around a bend..

i suddenly heard a loud noise on my engine.. then i realise when i throttle, my wheels don't move...

i then took a look at my chain.. it dropped off!! haha luckily nothing bad happened..
