Am happy that i have mid range torque now with my valve....however, also a bit worried that valve will break and will need to spend money on valve...

I just did a calc, i have spent close to $2900 since i bought my bike! :giddy::giddy:

Thats is on top of the amount i pay for the bike!

Woah...2000km 1litre 2T.....thats too lean. :faint: :faint: :faint: You should be happy that your engine didnt cease.

If assuming that the recomended mixture is 2%(ratio of 50:1), that means 1L of 2T will require 50L of petrol. For those running 22km/L, that would means 1100km only...

Thanks to everyone who made it down for the casual, last-minute dinner meet-up at Jackson kopitiam just now. It's always good to see you guys, and it was great to meet spiderman for the first time, not to mention his super-chio RS250 :loverstruck: Lawrence came even though he was working, then returned to his workshop afterwards. Even ARC West-side Regional Head Ben came all the way down!

I still don't have all the gears yet. No money to buy after buying the bike. So have to save up the money first. Maybe after getting all the gears I will go down with your and try. At least must try once in my life time what track is. Or will regrets later. As for tomorrow I don’t think I can make it as I have to work.[/b]

I know what you mean about all your money going into the bike. Like I said though, can go track just to look look see see even, plus it's not just about the track itself - there'll surely be makan and hanging out before, after and during track sessions.

As for the Marina South meetup - check the previous pages or wait for the organiser, redridinghood, to post the latest details.

can't help but admire it..

wonder when can wear it..

maybe i just wear it with my jeans just to show u..??[/b]

Wear it whenever we meet up lah, whether's it track or hang out - after all, I'm sure they're comfortable enough to walk around in :thumb: The boots look fine, and shouldn't really clash with your suit. a* boots are meant to stand out anyway, heheh. Plus you now have the extra protection of the SMX Plus over the SMX3.

What do you mean dead? No stopping power at all? Only a little? Are the brakes ok now? Are your pads worn out? Could there be oil on your pads or rotors? Could your brake fluid be contaminated? Could there be an air leak in your brake hoses? If your brakes are ok now and they only felt a bit bad just now, ride to get them checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible. If they were horrible just now, get the bike towed to a workshop, even if the bike feels fine right now. Don't gamble with your life.

You've definitely got the right priorities - your bike has to be ready or else it'd be foolish. See you some day soon on the track.

servo bro, wish I could join you right now for a kopi, but am really too tired.

Samuel, good luck tomorrow and don't stress.

tat why i dun want change the 2t i used... carbon build had to admit is quite bad but not matter wat rpm i dragged , my engine still quite healhty....:thumb:

i admit its lean very lean but i trust my mech, his 2t setting ,and his 2t ...

i pay a lot of attention to my engine sound and setting so a very slight different in terms of engine response and sound , i immediately go retune...

1100km ard 1 week can hit liao... i run ard at lot so 2t economy also very very important to me

Unlikely your valve will break if it's set up right, don't worry too much. Just clean it every 2 weeks and you should be fine.
