Nothing wrong with posting the shop..

If it seems like a good price, and you get a good job done, then Aprilians will have another place to go.. :thumb:

The cold raining weather ....2.idling setting....or 3. i never whacked n the oil never go in?????

To increase the 2T intake, i need to adjust the wire loop that is pulling the rocker arm thing right?

So, if i loosen the loop, the marking on the moveable part will rotate clockwise (moving towards the rear wheel), does that means increasing the 2T intake?

adjust the rocker arm?? no no.. ya adjust the screw where the cable goes thru into d 2t pump compartment.. jus like our brake/clutch lever.. there's a screw for ya to adjust the setting..

loosenin the loop means leanin the 2t intake.. as there'll be more freeplay..

if i remembered correctly.. turnin the nut anti clockwise, which is unscrewin the screw will lean the 2t and vice versa..

there's a reference mark on the rocker arm.. jus try to adjust accordin to the reference mark..

Loosening the loop, will the marking on the rocker arm move towards point A or point B?

If marking is moving towards point B, does that means richening or leaning?

happened to me before when i was fiddling with bigger idle jet size. For my case, its the bike will die when stopped at traffic light. I have to restart and keep throttling a bit. Then move off. But then after 2 to 3 stops, will die again. solve it by changing back to the original idle jet size.

i ask u all... overhaul already use wat 2t ah?

Actually bro.. As long as you use a good 2t, as long as piston dont jam happy already.. there's no specific 2t you need to use after overhaul.. What were you using previously?

So far, I've used Uni Opal Titanium, Mobile Pace, going to try Mobil Gold after overhaul.. Just trying them all out, trying to see the difference(if there is any)..

Wow, you've really put us in a tough position :giddy: Is it even an option for us to say that the Mito's a terrible bike, buy an Aprilia? We just had a joint Mito-Aprilia outing today for goodness sake

Thankfully, I don't have to lie when I say that both bikes are awesome machines, and share plenty of similarities, as I'm sure you know since you're asking us to compare the two. Both are Italian machines with plenty of style, with great-sounding engines.

However, few people would dispute that Aprilias are easier to maintain by yourself (DIY repairs, etc) than Mitos. Aprilia spare parts are also generally easier to come by. Whether that's a plus is for you to decide - if you'd rather have workshops do all the work for you anyway then this may not be relevant.

I think the most relevant piece of information for you is this often-repeated statement: Don't buy an Italian bike if you want a maintenance free commuter bike that you don't have to think about - just pump petrol and ride, etc. If that's what you want, look elsewhere. You'll need to pay attention to wear and tear, replace parts that are beyond hope, etc. But Aprilias and Mitos will reward the effort with handling that few Japs bikes can touch. Is that a good thing for a novice rider? Again, you decide.

How to buy a bike? Buy a brand new one with credit card, cash, instalments. Buy a used one with cash, reloan. Where? Plenty of shops out there; call, visit, browse. Go look around the Aprilia Riders Club forum in the my signature below for answers to commonly asked questions.
