just wondering whether any of you go PG to race or practice? Always wanted to go but quite paiseh man, ride rs125 but speed like scooter...

yeah...always tot of going too...

budden seems like our bike's temperature goes up rather high...

wonder if can tahan the journey there not...

scared halfway overheat...then siao liaoz...

actually for the short duration that i was on e bike ah, i think the bike is cooler the faster u travel. hehe... air cooled engine...

so it's probably more risky while getting stuck at the causeway than while riding up to PG...

any of e lao jiaos got comments or not? or organise a trip up there... hehe

we must paint name and blood type on our bike or not?

cyke's right man... as long as the bike's always in motion, don't have to worry about the temperature... i've travelled to KL on my rs125 before, no problems at all...

 

anyway, if there's ever a trip to PG, do count me in... can't race though coz no boots and armour jacket, but i can go give u guys mental support! or physical support to lift up your bikes in case anything happens hehe, just kidding there...

How in the world do you keep track of your remaining petrol?

 

Happened to me twice already, once on expressway once on main road near east coast, travelling happily then suddenly KNN no power, engine just go off...

 

Check back like crazy... move to the side of the road... die die cannot start...

 

 

Then switch to reserve tank, still cannot start leh! But wait a while (about 1-2 mins) on reserve then... eh? Start liao... Go pump petrol...

 

I think i going to get killed from this engine cutting thing sooner or later man... I hope it's just no petrol... not something more $$ and more seriously wrong with my darling April...

 

Any advice?

u dun ahf a low fuel light meh?

or your one is like mine, the light spoil liao...hehe

 

anyway with a spoilt low fuel light, u can still guage when to top up by checking ur mileage

 

everytime u top up petrol, reset the odometer to 0

i pump about 3/4 tank (10L) every time i go about 180km, it can go up to about 200 sometimes but better be safe then sorry

 

anyway reserve tank is like that one...must wait a while for the fuel to flow

 

my one worse, no reserve tank

i switch to ON, it can go until EMPTY one

I switch to RES, it shut off the fuel

I switch to OFF, the fuel still going

 

too powerful liao...hehe

Erm, the light spoil leh, i think... Never ever comes on... and you can go up to 200km??? Kena sai, i must be doing something wrong... 150km must switch to reserve liao...

Anyway, yesterday at Bishan J8 saw a guy riding Aprilia, want to say hi but you turn and disappear liao! haha

i guess that's one sucky thing about rs125.. no fuel gauge... sighz...

 

what I do is always leave the switch at reserve tank, and after every 200km, just go petrol station... works for me... don't want to be stuck in a situation where the engine just mati along AYE... can get heart attack...

 

anyway ponytail, maybe want to get your bike checked or something... mine can go up to 250km with full tank (includes reserve)...

hmmz..no fuel gauge...but at least got the low fuel light mah...

heng for me...all the lights working...fuel...2t...

but the fuel light can get irritating also...

coz when itz reaching low...it'll light up right...but sometimes haven't reach yet...

and when u kup or juz slant the bike...the fuel light will light up...

then when u brake....it seems that the fuel is splashig around...then the fuel light starts going on and off light blinking lor...quite irritating...haha....

28 May 2004 Outing to Nowhere

 

The outing started of by servo just asking if anyone wanted to go for a kopi session thus not expecting the turnout as shown below. The trip was filled with laughter and it goes to show how different people can actually meet up for the first time and share thoughts with each other. It was a successful kopi outing. There will be more for sure. The photos were not really that good. Servo going to study his digi cam in depth to take better photos next time. hehe Enjoy.
