Hi Aprilia RS 125 owners, I have a brand new Bitubo WZE01 rear shock for the Replica and Y2K model of the RS 125 going for S$680.

 

Bought in September, I was intending to keep this in case my current shock got damaged and had to be rebuilt, so this is my stand-in shock while my WP got sent in. But I havent had to use it yet, and since I probably wont, I've decided to sell it at cost price - S$680. I might lower the price if you ask nice enough....

so after changing an arrow pipe on my stock rs125, would i need to make any changes to the jetting etc to get the most out of it? fellow arrow pipe users please?

 

and next, where can i get a proper panel (not cone) or compatible filter for the rs125 locally?

 

please assist.

Since you were at Race Werkz that day, you should have asked Norman or William to do up your carb jetting.

 

 

2 strokes are even more sensitive to carb/exhaust combinations than 4 strokes.

If u ride in Singapore, pls obey traffic rules n speed limit. License is really hard to get nowadays. Needless to say the amount u will be paying for the courses n the time u take to re-take it all over again.

 

So to everyone here reading this, pls ride safe n practice speed restrictions. If u wanna speed, do it the legal way at the tracks....lol....

Ride to south buona vista road n go by 99 to Kent Ridge hill at night n enjoy the harbour view. Have Prata near to the foot of the hill. then proceed to Mount faber then go home.

 

Just an idea. But be real careful at the 99 bends n when going up Kent Ridge Hill, use onli 1st or 2nd gear. That is a almost 40 degree slope.

Christmas is coming.... Time for some celebrations.

 

Christmas is the time when u have lots of road blocks. Thought no-one is commiting an offence, lots of inconvinence is created. My suggesstion is that u guys pick to go out early then settle somewhere by 12midnight then hang around till morning.

 

Another suggesstion is to ride in to someplace in Rompin in Msia, book into a hotel like "Hotel Sri Rompin Malaysia" n share 4 to a room which cost around $60rm/night. Then return the next day. I suggest this hotel because this is the hotel which allows u to park u bikes in ur room! Rompin has a nice beach n it is somewhere near to Mersing. The roads there is quite challenging but do be careful of opposite traffic. And be-careful of crossing cows...lol...yes, cows esp when in rompin vincinity.

Vik, dont need worry u cant reach.... total journey about 400km. From causeway to kota tingi waterfalls then to Rompin then back sin. The roads there dont allow u to speed too much also.... say about 100km/h at most. The roads are s shaped n some even more than s. Good experience. 2005-christmas special. I used to paddel a mountain bicycle there with my friends 6/7 yrs ago.

 

Bicycle=leg powered

RS125=petrol engine powered

 

Just a leisure ride. Can shorten the trip if u think RS125 is not as powerful as mountain bicycle....lol....
