normally after i clear valve and then suddenly stop at traffic light sometimes alot of smoke leh.. and confirm got one chao ta smell... once my friends all reverse their bike behind me and "wah lan eh ur exhaust sibeh chao ah ! (very smelly) like bbq like that!" but after like a few mins of riding then back to normal already..

I've had afew days to think about your post and i'll try to reply as well as i can..

 

Firstly, the reason why no one apparently answered your question is beacuse those who were regularly posting dont know.. Jinhanz said it the best.. And i agree with him... If i knew exactly how to do it, i'd have answered your post..

 

What you could have done is given anyone of the senior guys who would know hw to do it.. For example, LordCani had a valve problem.. He posted it here on forum, but also at the same time he called me and consulted me too.. This is called proactive.. He knew me, so he called me for help.. He jus didnt simply wait around for someone to answer his post.. Do you see me posting my bike problems nowadays(well, no major problems yet!)?? If i have a doubt, i'd call ppl like chin guan, edwin, hanz etc to ask.. It's not like our contacts are unknown.. It's plastered on our ARC forum..

 

Which brings me to my next point, even on this thread, adjustment of 2T as been discussed before.. it is tedious to search for it, but it can be done.. BUt like i said, the best thing to do is call someone who knows..

 

Pls dont talk as though no one here likes you or ignores you. That is not true at all. If you start talking like them, it'd be easy for everyone to say that we never ever see you! You dont come for outings, gatherings watever.. You dont mix with us.. The only place you ever agree to come to is the Dam(one of my fave places also!).. Other than that, any outing we organise, you are not there... Of course, i understand that you are working and have a busy schedule.. there's a reason for everything right?

 

Next time, pls think before you post.. I have a tendency to post watever i am feeling and it always results in ppl getting pissed off.. But your post jus made me sad and insulted as though i am not a good friend.. Next time, any question pls call me.. I will help you check it out if i can..

A halo it not that im not there ok like u said im wrking and im sure u noe my wrking hours!!! how am im going to meet u all out for the outing when all outing is at 8pm 9pm type, i go dam cos its the nearest to my wrk place so that i can faster meet u all there and spend more time with u guys and chat!!!! happen to me b4 that when i reach the place where u all are, i sit down chair not warm yet wan go off liao, like that i still dare to meet u all guys far away frm my wrk place meh ??

and a simple FAQ i got while reading thru the aprilia thread frm page 1 to the end when i got my aprilia..

 

FAQ for RS125

------------------------------------------------------------

Symptom: Creaking from bike as you get on and off

Cause: Grease in the linkages has worn off

Solution: Remove shock linkage and re-grease them. Use ?? to grease

 

Symptom: Sqeaking from front shock

Cause: ??

Solution: ??

 

Symptom: Rear wheel constantly gets splattered by oil from chain

Cause: Gear oil is overflowing out onto the tube and onto the chain

Solution: Check amount of gear oil, may be overfilled. Overflow gear oil tube may need be re-routed instead of at the chain guard

 

Symptom: Grinding noise from the back wheel (krack-krack-krack noise)

Cause: Chain is over-tightened, straining the sprockets

Solution: Re-adjust to loosen

 

Symptom: Rattling noise from chain

Cause: Chain is loose, therefore rattling on the chain slider

Solution: Re-adjust to tighten

 

Symptom: Bike starts on its own once key is turned on

Cause: Engine start button has water in it

Solution: Wait for it to dry or repeatedly press the engine start button till the water clears

 

Symptom: Cannot hear the powervalve clicking open/close at 2250 rpm

Cause: powervalve clogged, powervalve spoilt

Solution: Take out powervalve to check, if ok throughly clean it with 2T oil

 

Symptom: Squealing brakes

Cause: Brake Calipers are too dirty

Solution: Clear out the brake dust on the calipers by removing the brake pads and washing them down. Apply copper grease on the back of the brake pads before putting them back in.

 

Symptom: Bike cuts out for no reason

Cause: No fuel

Solution: Check fuel switch, check petrol tank, check fuel breather hose

 

Symptoms: Bike edges forward after just started bike and drop to gear 1 although clutch fully depressed

Cause: Normal Operation, gear oil has not fully run through the clutch

Solution: Depress the clutch lever while waiting for your engine to heat up
