Hmmm... regarding the what speed at what rpm thingy, are u guys using stock 40 / 17 sprockets?

 

by the way anyone has any idea how much it cost to change steering cone and the thermostat thing that keeps track of the temperature? thanks~

Haha.. Dont worry Daniel, i took your advice to heart.. And like i told you, i only have 1 flat spot which i confirmed while my ride on TPE.. Just abit disappointed with my top end..

 

I hit 140kmlh at 6th gear.. 10K RPM.. That's it.. Cant go anymore.. My valve is jammed, so i supposed that might be a factor.. My compression is also not that good, going to get Ah Seng to check it out..

 

Basically i'm going to go step by step... Valve 1st... try top end again.. then go back for carb wash and settings.. thinking of upping my main jet to 150 or 155.. Current is 145 like i told you.. Finally is the top overhaul.. haiz.. money no enuff..

 

 

But the torque and the repsonsiveness of the Arrow, at 7k to 10K is absolutely fantastic! Hate to say this, sorta miss my milokong abit... :cheeky:

 

Anyway, Dan, thanx for the advice for chain and sprockets thingy.. think i will try that after i get my settings done!

Oh, the one I saw is parked opposite Shelford. Should not be yours then. I stay along Upp Bt Timah, but I haven't been riding at all. My bike has been laid up for more than 2 months, but I will most probably tow it to FM this Saturday to get it checked and all. Vik might be free to accompany me. Anyone else planning to go this Saturday can come give me pointers cause I'm a new rider. :)

 

I'm not sure if this is a good idea but I will be away for 3 weeks soon, so after I fix up the bike this Saturday, I will be riding less than a week, before it will be left alone in the carpark again. :( Is there any good method to keep the bike in good condition when I'm away for extended period?

for my bike, the from part is called header.. for ur bike i'm not sure whether isit the same? cos for my scrambler, its known as stomach..
