I read yer post n I'm realli sad to lose a bike is like... budden I admire yer courage - u actually faced up 2 yer dad. This is somethin' I dun think I'd ever do (scared). Besides, I also know tat they would just say "NO!"

 

I'm sure u R welcome at outings? At da most, if I'm in Spore, I give u a lift or somethin'? u R still a genuine aprilia owner so why should yer name be strike off da list?

 

Yer cousin maintains yer bike fer u? Wow! Maybe ask him 2 join forum so we'd know if he's up to nonsense... I dun understand... why YER bike but yer cousin's name? u so sure yer cousin won't play u for da fool n swipe yer bike? Sorry... My case? My FZR under my name but I park it faraway. Everybody sez gers should NOT ride so no one I can turn to fer help. My cousins R all snobs btw.

Apriliagal, it's pretty easy.. this place is a platform for us to communicate and exchanging of informations... if there's any gathering or outing, we'll just leave a post here and most probably on that day, we'll give each other a message..

hmmz....bout me trusting my cousin...

well...he's more like an elder brother to me...coz he kinda like watched me grow up?? hard to explain...i stayed with his family for like a decade...yeah...

 

another reason would be....putting the bike under his name...would make my insurance cost much lower than if i was the owner... =)

my cousins r all not in SG~ my bro dun haf a bike license, so i bo pianz have to convince my parents my main purpose is for transport.

 

It was hard, but he's the one paying for my insurance and season parking, while i pay for the bike~

 

I feel that it isn't thsat hard convincing parents to accept wad their children like anyway~ its a matter of reasoning out with them~ I never liked the idea of being so suspicious and creepy~

Lucky u... my cousinz would love 2 screw up my life over peanutz. I dun realli understand da insurance part; u mean putting it under some other guy's name would reduce itz cost?

when i got the bike....

 

Age : 19 (now 20)

Licence : less then 5days...

Bike : Sports/Racing bike..Aprillia..

 

to the insurance company...

i belong to the HIGH RISK group...meaning they'll charge higher for my insurance coz they believe this group are the most proned to accidents...

 

my cousin's bout 28...has his licence for 10 years...never involved in accident...

so...putting the bike under his name..his insurance would be way lower...then putting my name as sub-rider...would make my insurance go WAY WAY WAY lower....so instead of like....i dunno...600-1000? i'm paying like bout 300+ for my insurance...

 

bout paying and stuff....erm...i paid everything by myself...

bike, insurance, road tax...i worked for it..not a cent from my folks...so...

itz not the money matter...

 

and yeah...my dad also says....

u'll noe when u haf ur own kids...

but i made it clear to my dad that i'm not riding for the sake of transport...

but for the love of riding....

the best part...he said this...

 

dad : "wat bout driving??"

me : "yeah i love driving too..."

dad : "then riding lei?"

me : "love it too..."

dad : "ahhh...greedy..."

 

i was like...lol....think i made him think i'm crazy....

but oh well...i'll juz haf to convince him i'm responsible enough to handle a bike/car...or rather...stay alive...?

Me and Em7 would like to attend but I no longer riding aprilia and his 250 lend to his friend. So can and can make it like 20 00hrs as i never see and hear a millie R on road before. Very tempted to see it.
