wah lau.. a good friend you are :thumb:

but is an overhaul necessary?? if not.. just sell him cheaper and let him

just tell him about the deduction as an overhaul might be needed soon..

and still you're still a good friend~

siewsphone and bktan,

thanks, you guys - for your response about the Waterwetter.

I like to keep things simple and hassle free. So, for everyone's convenience, I'll go ahead and purchase a bottle of Waterwetter first. Our next Servicing Weekend, whoever wants just pay me your share for it and take what you need. Since we'll probably be doing everything together, its minimal hassle for all. Hope you all agree with my proposal?

Servo, hope to meet up soon. Hopefully for our next Servicing Weekend. Sorry, pretty tied in SG. Hope to go hit the track with you when you get your 250. Or when I'm less busy during weekends!

Oh, and also get some stuff from you too... signal and head.

5 am... *yawn* sh*t, ought to sleep soon. Got a meeting at 9am.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

bktan,

sounds like ur head block gasket is leaking, coolant is now mixing into your gear oil...

shouldnt be very expensive, but do it asap

Meeting??hmm...fine wif me...Coz Ndp finally over le...now very slack..wahaha

A second. What does this word mean to you? A blink, a fleeting moment, an ultra-small unit of measurement to measure performance, whether human or mechanical.A second is just a moment, but in motorcycle racing it has now become an incalculable distance.A glance at the starting grid of any motorcycle race is enough to understand how important this small fraction of time has become...

Head block gasket leak or blown. Coolant is not mixing w/ your engine oil.

Get it fixed ASAP, or watch your piston seize (get ready for top end overhaul) when enough coolant has entered.

Happened to me before. Expensive repair bills if u let it reach *kaboom* time. ;)

Hey guys,

I just came back from my experiment with opening up the headlights

heres how it went:

Having bought silver paint and normal epoxy and armed with screwdrivers, i proceeded to take off my head fairing starting from mirrors, den a total of 6 side fairing screws and 4 super hard to reach screws

After I finally got the head fairing out n detached the headlamp, i went on to opening up the unit with a screwdriver and a rather sharp jack knife. Turned out to be a very scary experience with glass chips flying out whenever i started to pry a little part open! After some prying here n there, i felt a glass chip fly into my eye and yet, the headlamp was still firmly stuck together

Decided to give up and put everything back together again. I just wasted 3 hours of my life and $15 for the paint n epoxy

arrgh...

n now that glass chip is probably somewhere in my eye still..hahaha

morale of the story guys, is not to try it, its really a waste of time n its so dangerous, might as well spend the time polishing ur bike or cleaning ur PV

Messiah - Ah Seng the mech said its the clutch plates. Gonna be about 100 plus for the replacement. But he said its only a one hour job, rather fast. Gonna do it end of the year, coz he say still can use...

Anyway hope to see you there again, if not, see you on the roads...

whoa scary sia... i'll be bringing to a mech nearby to fix it.

however, travelling around a bit today, the temp didn't go up nor down, stayed the same usual temp though.

before it seize will the temp of the engine shoot up? what are the symptoms?

btw, i thought for 2 stroke the gears and engine is dislocated. how come coolant can get into the gears when the coolant is suppose to cool the engine?

Better to be loved, than to hate...
