I recently when to Ah Bee aka HKL to ask about Honda SP, They Quote me 2600 Machine Price, but total is 3800 OTR. SO when i ask them, they claim 1200 goes to my insurance and transfer of ownership + roadtax. But does all those paperwork really cost so much??

HKL one thing they dun earn much when selling bike.

ur insurance urself u can ask ntuc income for quotation. ferring bike for p platers are expensive. my cuzin p plate $900+ insurance, ur road tax and transfer fee depend on bike can check via lta website, transfer less then 100. their interest is one of the lowest i surveyed. u wana discount, tok to ah bee personally at 2nd level and bring ur llawcheow frenz along. another alternative, check for quotation from other shops, but so far hkl quite transparent when selling bike.
