anybody here knows how much is the cost to do chroming for the front and rear rims? which shop in sg doing a good service for it?

 

 

Bro, from my knowledge, in sg there is only 1 shop doing chroming for bikes parts, but the shop is not a bike shop, it is an engineering shop which specialist in chroming parts, have to dismantle the parts & leave it at the shop for at least 1 week.

 

HQ did send some parts for chroming b4 to this shop.

Cost for chroming both rims is around $150-$200 (have to check with the shop).

The X-Hot is coming to 1000... but a few problems, which might involve warranty claim?! I am not sure...

 

1. Engine Check light came on TWICE while I was on the highway (about 80KM/H plus minus a bit)... The bike never stalled, but I had to pull over to off and on the ignition to get rid of the light

 

2. Noise (a bit like metal rattling) when the RPM is around 6000 and up... and the noise together with vibration comes from the left side while riding... I suspect it might be caused by the bearing (?!) or pulley or something similar within the clutch assembly?

 

I hope these are not serious problems... but I am worried because the bike is slow (esp on highway), and if it stalls halfway..... kinda scary

I took my g-max to batu pahat and just came back yesterday. Bike ran well without any problems riding for 4 hours!

Same thing happened when I was on the way back... TWICE from Airport back to Clementi

Bro, drop by HQ to have ur bike checked using the new system, it will be able to check & reset the warning light issues. I suppose ur bike need to be serviced as well rite?

Try using the Amsoil oil in ur bike, highly recommended if ur choosing fully syn. type of EO.

Maybe can ask Whiteoryx bro to mod a similar normal mode type for ur bike.

My bike is using the normal mode type.

yapp correct bro...if u or whoever wanna oraganize for an outing, pls make sure it is advance planning lah bro...at least 1 week before the actual date cos i am working on shift scheduled and further more of course it won't affect my praying times...

Sure. X-hot handlebar can mod to G-Max. But the speedometer functions can work on G-Max anot, I not so sure. Pricing wise, have to check it out.

Bro, have to open up the transmission cover & check, mostly is the oil seals that is leaking. The oil seals used in X-Hot are simillar to the ones that are used in T-Rex & G-max 150 engines. So stock should not be a problem.

X-hot meter can use on gmax. I saw jorshino forums ppl do alr. the kill-switch button need to hook up to the EFI light. As gmax no efi and xhot efi so no use for the efi light den reroute to hookup to killswitch. This is as far as i can recall

I think first batch like got some bugs havent resolve. First batch of gmax 150 have tendency to break crankshaft.
