Congratulations!

Yo people, hope you guys can enlighten me on the following.

1) FC: 5L gives me 128km (first tank). 25km/L, doesn't sound good for the bike yeah?

Will monitor on this or any comment.

2) Petrol tank. 5L gives me blinking fuel gauge already and let me get full tank. Is 5L the normal tank and there's ~2L in reserve tank?

3) Is there any switch to switch to reserve tank? Is my reserve tank filled up atm?

4) Bike rattles a lot after pillion riding. (when i accelerate up to 4.5km) It will take 15minutes or 10km to get back to normal rattling. Engine issue or anything that is not fixed properly?

5) The bike is very noisy. Very very noisy, non bassy at all, like lao hong. I wonder if that's the normal noise level.

I just PGO G-Max recently...:thumb:

If anyone could let me know about the general info?

1) my mileage now is at 70000km, when will be my next servicing?

2) what is the front and back tire pressure to pump?

Thanks

As my rear tyre needs to be changed urgently, 130 60 13 is out of stock, I have changed to 130 70 13. Front is still 120 60 13.

The mech mentioned that 140 60 13 may be too thick. Oh well. Pls let me know if this is forbidden.

Bring it to a gd mech to service.

There are many brands of tyres that carry 130/60-13 size. HQ will be able to source for you (depends on ur budget). Check the rear mudguard of ur bike when ur using 130/70-13 tyres. Taller wall tyres will damage the rear mudguard of a bike.

I used to use 140/60-13 rear & 130/60-13 front tyres on my G-Max 200, not much changes in power. In fact, can corner better.

Multiple bloats from the rear tyre makes me desperate to change immediately, can't wait.

If there's no concern other than rear mud guard, great! I will use this combi till i change both tyres when they need to be changed.

FC is better now at 27km/L+ because the tyre pressure is too low previous.

Btw, is there any switch to reserve fuel tank?

Ur tyre life is up please change. Blistering of tires means that there are some iner portion detached. Tyre structure intergrity is no longer there.

Last thing u want is tire give way or burst when u are travelling 100km/h in expressway 1st lane.

All bikes, there is no such thing as reserved tank.

It's just a so call reserved volune of fuel in the 1 and only main tanks.

For normal bikes. They have a petcock or fuel valve. This fuel valve have 3 position.

http://www.dansmc.com/petcock5.jpg

Off - means fule supply is cut off.

On - mean supply is on and it's using the the longer tube in the picture

Reserve-means supply is feel from the shorter tube.

Once the fuel level fall below the longer tube. u will need to switch the fuel flow to access the "reserve fuel"

All auto scooter do not have this 3 position petcock. They only have a vacumm actuated petcock. Only open or close position.

Ur Fuel reserved is determined by the fuel sensor float. once reach that level. it will light up. meaning time for u to pump petrol.

When it light up. usually should have 1 to 1.5 liters left. Nowadays, some road bikes also have the similar setup at autoscoot's petcock.

Please don't ignore. cos I ever run out of fuel at ECP and TPE before. Have to push ur bike 2 km to get fuel. ANd I can tell you it's no fun.
