what is the normal ideling rpm after auto choke cut-off??

and can the ideling speed be adjusted on EFI engines?? like how?

the original 12V socket in the left compartment can't be use for smoking unless u change the internals. cos the original one can't grab the cigarette socket.

oh... ic... learn something new today

But suggest u to go to a scooter shop that has proper equipment. Cos the rear brake is combined with 1 piston of the front wheel.

normal idling from factory should be from 1.2k to 1.5k...

u can try lower it to 1k.

idling speed can be adjusted on all bikes and cars.

like how? your user manual got teach. if lazy can go bike shop to adjust.

i tink u all can do it together lo, since both wanna do. actually no take much time. And if u wanna save u need another person to help u open the valve can liao..jus need a tube, bottle and a size 8 or 10mm spanner. And 1 bottle of brake fluid (750ml) enough for 2 bikes.

DIY for simple jobs ok lah... but for such critical functions, i'ld rather pay a bit to have it done properly by the pros

I'm back!! From 8 days of Taiwan.

 

Not a very bad place to go. Lots of small little scoots (Kymcos & Yamahas).

Was told that almost every household have got 2 or 3 bikes.

Brand new scoots cost abt SGD $2000 +/-.

Abt half are lady riders and they wear mini skirts...

Will be going to K & T tmr morning to:

 

1. Fix my hagon rear supension.

2. Check and repair my magnetic coil area (suspect the usual oily oily thingy).

3. Clean my variator and clutch.

 

Might just go in GP to wash bike if can finish early.

If u know the system, its not so difficult. I tink 1 of u guys got the manual rite ? Shld be able to do it ma..anyway i change my few times already, with help from another fren.

 

Wont cork up one la, if u not sure then press both levers and bleed lo, sure wont go wrong but tired la..

Just went to bike prod to view one FY Silverwing. 5.7k mileage 120000+ km a tab too high for my liking. Any bro wanna sell here.....haa haa

Just completed the repair of the minor oil leak at the magnetic coil area.

Also cleaned the belt compartment.

 

The Hagon rear suspension also installed. Simple job no need take out side panels.

 

Total $144 (include oil change).

 

Initial Suspension Review

 

I did not change any setting that comes with the suspension. Not sure whether it is the low, medium or high setting (only got 3 setting). Will check later.

Bike seat is now higher. I presume there is less sag than the stock.

 

Eh... when travelling... I can't feel the rear anymore (no more bumps).

So smooth. I can now feel only the harder Hyperpro front.

But it gave me a scare when cornering becos it lean more easily.

Just came back from HK and I realised that there is not a lot of motorcycles but there is lots of scooter. totally a reversal from Singapore. Almost every roadside parking that I went by. I see scooters parking and it is those big type.

 

They also do not park on the kerbs as wel. or atleast that what I notice for the pass few days. very law abiding
