Just installed the Hyperpro Fork Spring using standard oil setting of 10cm of air (stated in manual).

Hmm... very firm and stable cornering.

But... in straight road cruising mode, I can 'feel' the road. A bit hard.

Well, there must be some compromise.

I'll see how it performs in Cameron Highlands come Sat, 7 Mar.

If doen't satisfy my 'niawness'... watch for the ads. :faint:

have to get use to it, can "feel" the road. But braking dist. improve and front wont sink in so much during emergency brake. Had been using for a year or so. Its getting a little soft compared to back than when just changed. Maybe about time to change oil already..

Overall it better then stock ! Oh ya, dont forget to adjust ur headlight beam, it'll be higher now since u jus changed, cos the slack is not so much now so gotta adjust the beam lower. :thumb:

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

Ya. Hopefully should be ok in a while.

Most fork will 'soften' a bit after sometime.

Tmax also not bad.

but i'm afraid that the maintenance is expensive.

plus there is more wing on the road so shop tend to know more on sw then tmax.

tat is wat i think

my pull back on changing a tmax is still the same.

lol...

pro.

powerful, powerful braking, good handling, nice looking

con.

smaller compartment, smaller tank, higher fuel consumption, can't go with a box, higher maintenance(not too sure)

today not very productive :sian:

went future... kenny said only got belt, no stock for rollers or slider

went K&T... clifford said too many jobs, not time to do my bike; asked me to go on weekday for the "sync" job

heh heh... plan to put the eggs in multiple baskets... motoworld (tires, fork spring???), future (belt, rollers, sliders), tai hin (eo, filter, drive oil) and k&t (bleed/change brake fluid, synchro), DIY (sparkplugs, airfilter).

I went to see Tmax too..... maintainace quite ok, Price in HL website,,,,

But price is $17k with no ABS. ANother $1300 for ABS version.

ALso the riding posture different from SW. More forward leaning. And speedometer in miles(have smaller kmh too on inner dial). Compartments not lockable.... no 12v port......

amended my earlier post...

plan to put the eggs in multiple baskets:

motoworld: change tires, fork spring??? darn sianz... hate waiting

future... belt (will decide after seeing the condition), rollers (stock), sliders

tai hin... luqui molly eo, stock filter, final drive oil

k&t... bleed/change brake fluid $30, synchro $40

diy... irridium sparkplugs, stock airfilter

3-in-1 pack for belt, roller & sliders... cheapest from future, then tai hin, then k&t then boon siew (workmanship itself already $100)

quote from FJT (parts only) adds up to about $177, ever success more expensive
