u see those that are blindly bright maybe they nvr install properly and light beam not adjusted after installation. Cos so far i saw those that install properly wont have this problem. In SG, halogen enough but NSH better with HID lo..

HID needed projector light to throw the light effectively..There are only a handful of bikes that comes with projectors. I used it on my 05 R6 high beam the light throw is fantastic, just like a torch light focusing on a point where you can adjust to your liking.

I also used it on F4i high beam, the light throw is also excellent, somehow this reflector lens are better in focusing the light.

Take note I only used it for high beam, using low beam is an overkill on Singapore road.

With my Tmax, I used it on high beam, the light is everywhere except the correct place..Reflector lens doesnt do justice for HID and what you do is only annoy other road users...

In a nut shell with reflector lens you can forget about HID unless you want to annoy others in front of you....

Guy.. If metal part of the exhaust got sratch mark, wat u all will do??

dun look at it.

as for HID, if it is safety & vision purpose, then its ok if done in a proper way. if its for the 'beauty appearance', then i wun do it... i dun care how others look at my bike/car and i cant see my head lamp when i'm riding.

guess you're referring to the chrome plated plastic protector...

if got lots of $$ to splurge... change the whole exhaust to street legal aftermarkets

if got some $$ to splurge... change the plate, go shop or DIY (buy from BS/FJT)

if got little $$ to splurge... paste sticker over it, go 219 or DIY (buy from Autobacs)

if got no $$ to splurge... paste saliva then ignore it :thumb:

added:

... if plate still good even if it has many scratches, suggest paste sticker over it cos that thing gets scratched easily/commonly especially at public parkings. 219 shop charges $35~$40 to stick it with 3M carbon fibre sticker (black color). if you want the aluminium silver color, can buy from Autobacs then DIY.

... almost forgot there's the chrome spray paint, but doubt we can do a nice job unlike those pros using airbrushes.

... just ignore if only minor scratches.

can't possibly change it every time it gets scratched ya :p

chrome spray your whole SW?

imagine a SW looking similar to this car... OMG :slurp:

but some common problems with chrome paint are that they get scratched easily and kinda develop flakes after sometime if not properly taken cared of.

Because ur projector is used as low beam and the reflector is use as high beam. i got no complaints from my fellow riders when goin up, be it head on or behind them.

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

Most probably will take route 401 cos 41 very boring.

Left side to go up and right via coastal route back to Hatyai.

Will stopover at Songkhla and hill top temple before reaching pinky hotel.
