Yeah, back from running-in trip to Labis Hotspring.

Managed 110km/h (going) and 120km/h (coming back). No problem so far.

 

Also stopped over at Taman Sentosa for body massage (1.5hrs at rm80) and makan (the claypot rice is very nice).

 

Took only 15 mins to clear both custom. *6.59pm at opposite shell station before custom and 7.14pm already on BKE.

Not many bikes but the best thing is... no more twist and turns at the malaysian checkpoint. 1 direct route to SG and bikes have their own lane until halfway across the causeway.

Might try Malacca or endau rompin waterfall for last running-in trip.

Need to clock 130km/h-140km/h.

btw when u guys go long distance how much tyre pressure u all us? shd be diff from normal days commuting correct?

 

hmm... I always use 200 for front and 240 for rear (because I don't pillion).

Same for local or overseas.

 

if I feel the bike sits like a chopper, then 90% sure the rear is deflated below 220. Must pump again.

hanor hanor... actually intended to ride straight back after cooking the sausage and eggs but really liked the idea of massage :p

 

had claypot rice (rm11/strongly recommended), bbq stingray (rm16/recommended), 油墨 vege (rm10/could be better) and cane juice (rm6) for dinner at 大马花园 tebrau food centre (section nearest to Shell station).

reminder to all tour kakis, especially those going for coming april trip... check that your passport has at least 6 months of validity.

 

mine expiring in sep this year... need to pay $$ and make a new one liow.

$%#@ new passport's nos won't be the same as our NRIC nos liow :slapforehead:

Yup yup. New checkpoint route is so much easier. Made my rushing back so much easier.

Told my wife liao, next time dont wanna haf appt after ride.. :)

If completed 1000km by then (100km per day nia, 1 round SG only), can join us for higher speed warming up.

Hazard Light Switch. I've modded to connect direct to battery circuit with a flasher relay module hence it can be use when ur ignition is off. Muz have the flasher module else it won't work. coz our flasher module is built in to our speedometer. Thats why when ur ignition is off or speedometer is remove, ur light won't even light up.

A R1200GS was infront of me today. Seeing how wide the handler bars and panniers are, it sort of defeated the intend of me riding in the first place. Better stick to my SW :)
