i would describe a stock SW as relatively economical to maintain but reasonably expensive to restore (e.g. accident). general maintenance and wear-n-tear parts are relatively cheap. replacement parts like fairings, headlights, radiator, wheels, etc. are relatively expensive.

a. Choice of Outbound to Phuket:

(1) 7 Nov, Mon morning flight at 8.35am, arrival Phuket 8.45am = S$216.90 *S$100 for 4 nights accommodation in Phuket. Arrival earlier than us.

(2) 7 Nov, Mon night flight at 8.35pm, arrival Phuket at 9.20pm = S209.95 *S$100 for 4 nights hotel.

(3) 8 Nov, Tue morning flight at 8.35am, arrival Phuket 9.20am = S$226.90 *S$75 for 3 nights hotel

 

b. Standard Inbound (11 Nov, Fri at 10am, arrival at 12.45pm) ** Leaving at same time with us.

6.30am - Move off

8.15am - Ayer Keroh RSA breakfast (191km @130km/h metered)

9am - Move off after petrol fill

10.15am - Sungei Besi Toll (127km @130km/h)

11am - Bentong Town petrol refill (74km @100km/h. Total = 201km)

11.15am - Move off

12 noon - Raub Durian Orchard for Lunch (45km @80km/h) *1.5hr break

1.30pm - move off

3.30pm - Reach Rosa Passadena Hotel (150km @80km/h)

After that, OTOT or:

- Strawberry Ice cream

- Pasar Malam

- Steamboat buffet supper
