almost ran over a young boy (about lower primary ba) on Sunday while turning into the car park, there's a "blind spot" when negotiating the corner of the HDB flat next to carpark...

 

out of nowhere, the small boy ran across the road, oblivious of the oncoming traffic. lucky for me, i managed to stop in time but hell, i was like in shock during the immediate moments after that.

after recovering, i felt like "KNN, want to commit suicide dun use my car leh!!!"

 

also lucky i wasn't riding my scooby, else sure to drop bike (or skid) due to panic e-braking while negotiating the bend. that'll mean $$$ fly away liow

 

Tat so closr call. should brought to town council for their attention.

Hi guys, wanna check whether is there still a new silverwing 600 in Singapore? Any recommended shops that carry silverwing 400/600?

Looking for one either 1st or 2nd hand..

Friday... I'll be at GP Esso by 6.15am. *6.30am move off if possible.

1st stop - Ayer Keroh Petronas (210km - 8.30am). Petrol only.

2nd stop, the usual Dengkil Macdonalds for longer tea break (133km - 10am). N3.118764, E101.593402

3rd stop, Tapah Shell (135km - 12.30pm). Petrol only.

4th stop, R & R along Gerik HW, near bridge. Butt rest, tea break (118km, 1.45pm) N4.993973, E100.949474

5th stop, Penkalan Hulu Petronas (109km, 3.15pm). Petrol only. N5.703194, E101.000071

6th Stop, Checkpoint. (6km). ** After petronas roundabout, TURN RIGHT at the 1st traffic light junction.

Arrival Hotel, 4pm (SG time) or 3pm (Thai time).

Massage, dinner, shopping, disco/pub.

 

 

Or... I might stay at Baba House on Thur, then meet the rest at Dengkil Mac. *Pending work commitment on Thursday.

Hmm... 2nd hand... not sure any kakis here wanna sell and go for the NC700X?

1st hand... can try M1 motor at near Kembangan MRT or Bike Production at Serangoon. Should be reasonably priced.

 

Well, many have crossed over to the 700X at the same SW price, even for a DCT model.

Hi SW9000,this is regarding the Air Screw Synchronisation that you post quite some time back. How do you take out the black seat under cover?

I have removed the 4 screws that is very obvious to take out. However, there are 2 fuse boxes that is standing in the way.Is there other screws to take out? Not much info on this in the Tech Area.

The fuse boxes are clipped to the black cover.

Use a screw driver to compress the rubber clip (between the fuse box and black cover) and it'll come out.

i wrote to MP (GKY) in May this year about a dangerous traffic junction @CCK where cars/bikes chiong red light almost every morning and suggested red-light cam before disaster strikes. there's a pre-school and sexsec school nearby so lots of children/maid pedestrians are potential victims.

guess it'll need another Ferarri to kickoff some reactions from the relevant parties

 

i even suggested not to send uniformed staff there if they want to see the real picture, but only saw uncle sam passby there a few times. i was like... come on!!! which motorist is stupid enough to chiong red light in front of uncle sam? unless they are too rich to give "red packet" and contribute more to John's bonus

Quite the opposite; love the bike absolutely! All the kinks have been ironed out under my care. Just that the bike is too powerful for me, and riding it requires a certain level of skill and concentration, else it's easy to get into trouble. Prefer a laid-back, twist-and-go approach without having to worry about gears. Still considering. If somebody fated and worthy comes along, then sell. Else see whether I can be a better rider since it's already paid for. You keen?
